UAE – Samsung Gulf Electronics (SGE) has partnered with a Dubai-based medical expert Dr. Sarah Gabriel Jabbour to improve the public health and wellbeing of communities in the United Arab Emirates.
Under this partnership with Samsung Gulf Electronics, Emirati medical specialist Dr. Jabbour will discuss how technology, specifically a smartwatch, can be leveraged to keep track of three critical aspects of modern-day health.
She will create an effective educational video series designed to empower residents with comprehensive knowledge of how smartwatches can be used to track and store data on sleep habits, blood pressure and Electrocardiogram (ECG) reading.
In a press release, Samsung Gulf Electronics said: “Through a video series, Dr. Jabbour will demonstrate how the advanced features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Series can help maintain and monitor users’ health to help them make better health decisions.”
Samsung Gulf Electronics designs and manufactures electronic products, including mobile phones, notes, tablets, smartphones, televisions, audio equipment, computers and peripherals, and home appliances.

As a world leader in the smartphone market, Samsung Gulf Electronics recently launched the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro Series leveraging phone-based mobile technology to help maintain and monitor users’ health.
“With its enhanced well-being monitoring, the Watch5 Series makes it easier for users to keep track of their general wellness and take steps to improve it,” said Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Special features of the Galaxy Watch5 Series harness advanced integrated analytics to enable remote health monitoring, and in turn, help users make better health decisions.
For instance, sleep is a vital component of optimal health and well-being and understanding sleep patterns can help attain better and more consistent sleep.
“The innovative 3-in-1 Bioactive sensors in both Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro are specially designed to measure ECG, blood pressure, and body composition in real-time so users can create healthy habits that last,” announced the South Korean-born technology company.
Both Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, developed by Samsung, have intuitive sleep tracking to help users reach greater holistic health.
These smartwatches also feature already-installed daily fitness goals and breathing exercises that users can utilize to attain their well-being goals in no time.
According to the company, the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro benefit from an upgraded Sapphire Crystal Glass watch face and an IP68 water and dust-proof to enhance user experiences.
Consequently, Samsung Gulf Electronics has selected Dr. Jabbour to curate an educational video series about the Galaxy Watch5 Series as a device for monitoring key aspects of modern-day health including health, blood pressure, and ECG data.
Dr. Jabbour is an emergency specialist with over ten years of experience in the medical field. She has a certification in emergency medicine from the Council of Arab Board of Medical Specialization and is a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Commenting on the new deal with Samsung, Dr. Jabbour emphasized: “Sleep is not a luxury; it is necessary for good health.
