Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad opens doors to its new state-of-the-art lab

INDIA – A brand-new Pathology & Laboratory Medicine department has officially opened at the Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad in the heart of Haryana, India.

Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad is a part of Sarvodaya Healthcare, the group has been serving the community for nearly 31 years with quality care and affordable medical facilities.

Spread across 4.25 acres with 400 beds, 120 ICU beds, and 12 OTs, Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad has officially opened the doors to its new lab equipped with the latest advancements in technology and diagnostics.

This flagship unit of Sarvodaya Healthcare is now the first and only hospital to have an in-house fully equipped Molecular Laboratory in Faridabad.

Located within the premises of Sarvodaya Hospital, the new lab will offer a comprehensive range of services across different medical disciplines, around the clock.

It will offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services to patients and their families living in Faridabad, Delhi-NCR, and other neighboring territories.

The lab is staffed by highly skilled histopathologists, microbiologists, hematologists, pathologists, and other experienced doctors.

Physicians will use the latest diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate, timely diagnoses, help to provide quicker turnaround times and improve the healthcare landscape of Haryana.

They will be empowered and provided with the latest advancements in technology and diagnostics to provide valuable insights into infectious diseases affecting both adults and pediatric patients.

Moreover, the new lab at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad houses an in-house frozen section to enable doctors to accurately diagnose a lesion as benign or malignant intraoperative, and help them to decide the type and extent of surgery in rare cases.

It will complement the works of Sarvodaya Healthcare’s tertiary and secondary care hospitals, health clinics, diagnostic and imaging centers, and dialysis centers across multiple locations in India.

The inauguration of the new state-of-the-art lab at Sarvodaya Hospital, Faridabad was officiated by the Honourable Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya.

It was inaugurated in the presence of Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Chairman of Sarvodaya Healthcare, and Mrs. Anshu Gupta, Managing Director of Sarvodaya Healthcare.

Moreover, Dr. Deepika Parwan, Head of Department & Senior Consultant for Pathology & Lab Services at Sarvodaya Hospital, Sector 8, Faridabad was also present at the solemn ceremony.
