SAUDI ARABIA – The National Family Safety Program (NFSP) has partnered with Zain KSA, a Saudi Arabian telecommunications and digital services company, to promote the well-being of children.
The NFSP is a center of excellence, established to promote change within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on topics regarding domestic abuse of children, women, the elderly, and the disabled.
Under the new agreement, NFSP and Zain KSA will work closely to champion for the establishment of a comprehensive support framework to safeguard the well-being of children in both the real and online world.
The agreement will facilitate knowledge transfer and promote the sharing of expertise through the Saudi Child Helpline project.
Zain KSA and the National Family Safety Program aim to increase access to consultations, educational programs for children and caregivers, and prompt responses to complaints and reports.
In a press release, Mr. Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Omair, Media Relations, and Public Awareness Manager at the Family Safety Program, stated: “An essential goal of the National Family Safety Program is to raise awareness about the significance of Child Helpline 116111 and introduce its dedicated services, underscoring children’s rights to care and protection.”
This strategic alliance is a clear reflection of the National Family Safety Program’s role of building strategic partnerships and collaborating with various organizations to champion children’s rights to care and protection.
As a strategic partner, Zain KSA is rolling out country-wide educational campaigns to raise awareness about the meaningful initiatives under the Saudi Child Helpline project.
Zain KSA will prioritize the training of qualified personnel proficient in utilizing and harnessing new technologies to efficiently serve the Child Helpline callers.
Moreover, Zain KSA and the National Family Safety Program will jointly launch various initiatives designed to form a robust social and technological safety network.
Maintaining strict confidentiality, these initiates create a secure and nurturing space for individuals seeking assistance on issues concerning children and caregivers.

This project has resulted in a substantial reduction in psychological and social health issues, as well as peer relationship problems between the 2019 and 2022 time periods.
Additionally, Zain KSA launched an anti-bullying campaign, striving to raise awareness about this crucial issue and encouraging a compassionate environment built on kindness and empathy among individuals.
Demonstrating a resounding commitment to child safety and digital well-being, Zain KSA introduced the Parental Control page, an innovative initiative empowering parents with tools to monitor and regulate their children’s internet usage, fostering a secure digital environment.
