SAUDI ARABIA – The Surgical Review Corporation (SRC) has accredited the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam as a Center of Excellence in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
The Saudi German Hospital in Dammam is a part of Saudi German Health (SGH), one of the leading healthcare groups in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
The accreditation earned by Saudi German Hospital, Dammam from the SRC underscores the group’s unwavering dedication to delivering top-quality exceptional patient care and pioneering advancements in the field of weight loss and metabolic surgery.

Recently, Saudi German Health launched its eagerly-awaited chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing has more than 100,000 active members and 600 chapters.
Moreover, Sigma has a long-standing reputation for its commitment to promoting nursing research and evidence-based practice.
Sigma’s Board of Directors responsible for approving Sigma’s chapters has unanimously approved the establishment of the SGH Sigma with positive findings.
“As part of its mission to promote comprehensive care and ensure the overall well-being of the community, SGH will continue to improve patients’ lives through advanced metabolic and bariatric surgical practices, all the while caring like family,” stated Makarem Sobhi Batterjee.
