QATAR – Sidra Medicine, a Qatar Foundation entity, has entered into an agreement with GlobeMed Qatar for the provision of insurance products in the health sector.
The central aim of this agreement is to offer eligible insured members of payers contracted with GlobeMed Qatar access to Sidra Medicine’s women’s and pediatric medical services.
The agreement was formally signed by Dr. Iyabo Tinubu-Karch, Chief Executive Officer of Sidra Medicine, and Dr. Samer Jaber, Regional Deputy General Manager of GlobeMed Qatar.
In a news release, Dr. Iyabo Tinubu-Karch, the Chief Executive Officer of Sidra Medicine said: “The inclusion of GlobeMed Qatar as our latest third-party administrator partner for insurance services serves as a testament to our commitment to offer more choice and access to our world-class services for women, children and young people.”
Dr. Iyabo Tinubu-Karch expressed her belief that the collaboration will enhance patient experience and lead to a better quality of continued care for families in the State of Qatar.
Strikingly, Sidra Medicine is a Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP) accredited center and offers Continuous Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to all licensed healthcare professionals and senior medical staff.
It is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), a prestigious accreditation body in the United States, designed for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
Through the newly formed agreement, Sidra Medicine will provide high-quality, affordable women’s and pediatric medical services to eligible insured members served by GlobeMed Qatar.
Under pediatric care, eligible insured members served by GlobeMed Qatar can access private evening clinics including general pediatrics, ENT, endocrinology, general surgery, urology, neurology, and child and adolescent mental health.
For women’s services, female patients can access obstetrics, gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, and reproductive medicine, just to name a few.
It allows direct billing access to Sidra Medicine’s women’s and pediatric medical services in efforts to lead the improvement of the lives of women, children, and young people.
In his address, Dr. Samer Jaber, the Regional Deputy General Manager of Medical at GlobeMed Qatar, said: “We are immensely proud of this strategic collaboration with the reputable Sidra Medicine.”
He reaffirmed GlobeMed Qatar’s dedication to offering insured members of clients contracted with GlobeMed Qatar with access to quality care through Sidra Medicine’s women and pediatric services.
He pointed out that eligible insured members served by GlobeMed Qatar can now access Sidra Medicine’s range of private services including evening clinics for both women and children.
Underlining the significance of the new agreement, Dr. Samer Jaber stated: “This collaboration marks an important step in offering insured members enriched healthcare experience that emphasizes both quality and convenience.”
