INDIA – Stryker, an American multinational medical technologies corporation based in Michigan, has hired Aman Rishi as the new Vice President and General Manager of India, effective March 1, 2023.
Stryker is one of the world’s leading medical technology companies and, together with its customers, is driven to make healthcare better.
The company offers innovative products and services in Medical and Surgical, Neurotechnology, Orthopaedics, and Spine that help improve patient and healthcare outcomes.
As Vice President and General Manager, Aman will oversee Stryker’s healthcare business in the Indian region.
He is expected to drive sustainable business growth and accelerate healthcare professionals’ access to medical technology and innovation that can help impact patients’ lives throughout their journey.
Upon being notified of his appointment, Aman said: “I feel very privileged to take on this leadership role together with the dedicated and mission-driven team in India.”
He expressed his willingness to work closely with the Stryker team in India to make healthcare better, the company impacts more than 130 million patients annually.
“I look forward to continuing our phenomenal growth journey, bringing the best of Stryker to our customers, and making healthcare better in India,” Aman added.
Aman has spearheaded initiatives that have enabled Stryker to establish its presence in the current MedTech industry environment regionally.
In addition, he played a critical role in helping achieve the business’s growth in India.
Aman started as finance controller and advanced through a series of increasingly senior commercial and functional leadership roles.
He led the MedSurg business in India where he turned the company around by reenergizing the product portfolio, the culture, and the team.
Before his current role, Aman most recently served as the Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development for Asia Pacific where he helped strengthen Stryker’s market and category leadership in the region.
He has progressed through multiple positions at Stryker in India, and Asia Pacific, thus he will pull from his decades of experience to spearhead further growth in the region.
