This year’s event attracted a record-breaking attendance of over 350 participants, including customers, partners, innovators, and industry leaders from around the world.

GERMANY – Syntegon, a leading global partner to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and food sectors, recently held the 10th edition of its flagship event, Pharmatag, on May 20 and 21, 2025.

This year’s event attracted a record-breaking attendance of over 350 participants, including customers, partners, innovators, and industry leaders from around the world.

The two-day event highlighted the critical importance of close collaboration between technology providers and their customers, especially when developing essential solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Torsten Türling, CEO of the Syntegon Group, emphasized this point by stating that the many success stories shared at Pharmatag clearly demonstrate how partnership drives innovation and progress.

He further noted that Syntegon’s commitment to strong, lasting partnerships sets the company apart in the industry.

Pharmatag’s program was packed with a diverse range of activities, including presentations on the latest technological innovations, expert insights, and real-world examples of successful projects.

Among the standout moments were keynote speeches by Brigitte Reutter-Haerle, Vice President of Product Management at Vetter Pharma, and Christa Myers, Process Chemical Engineer at CRB.

Both speakers stressed how collaboration is essential today for shaping the future of the pharmaceutical sector.

Several case studies presented by companies such as Siegfried Hameln, GennVax, Lek d.d., Stevanato Group, and Aspen illustrated how co-creation between Syntegon and its partners is already producing tangible benefits.

Additionally, attendees were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Syntegon’s production facilities, allowing them to experience innovative machine designs and customized customer projects up close.

A major highlight of the event was the world premiere of Syntegon’s new line concept, SynTiso, which was unveiled as part of the company’s updated strategy focused on growth, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.

This strategy aims to help businesses improve efficiency through seamless processes, offer customers access to cutting-edge technologies, and lead the market with sustainable, future-proof solutions.

Developed in close collaboration with two pharmaceutical industry partners, the SynTiso line concept is designed specifically for liquid pharmaceutical filling.

It addresses current challenges faced by manufacturers, such as the need for high equipment availability, full automation, maximum product yield, and minimal operator involvement.

Stephan März, Executive Vice President of Pharma Liquid at Syntegon, expressed confidence that, together with their customers, Syntegon will revolutionize the liquid filling process.
