SAUDI ARABIA – TachyHealth, a healthcare technology company based in Delaware, has developed a new artificial intelligence-driven conversational model for medical coding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Its interconnected intelligent solutions include AiGuide for medical doctors, AiCode for medical coders, AiClaim for claim management, and AiReview for claims review and auditing by the payers.

TachyHealth has integrated its latest AI-backed language model into its existing AiCode solution trained on the Saudi billing system published by the Council of Health Insurance (CHI).

Delaware-based healthcare technology company has deepened its footprint in the Middle East with the launch of its AiCode language model designed to make context-based predictions and adapts to different language nuances.

The AiCode model allows users to create natural language prompts before assigning in seconds the appropriate International Classification of Diseases (ICD10-AM) codes, as well as procedures codes (Nphies), resulting from its understanding of the text,” the startup said in a press release.

This personalized approach will assist in reducing the margin of error in medical coding to ensure healthcare providers and payers receive the correct reimbursement for their services.

The conversational approach reduces the time and effort required by medical coders, allowing them to focus on more critical tasks, directly impacting the quality of patient care,” claimed TachyHealth.

Moreover, TachyHealth’s AiCode will aid healthcare providers and payers to better understand patients’ medical histories, track treatment progress, and make well-informed decisions about their care plans.

This strategic move will help to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of medical coding systems, minimize the risk of financial losses, and promote patient-focused care in Saudi Arabia.

By staying up to date with the most recent codes, AiCode helps healthcare providers and insurance companies maintain the highest standards of medical billing,” informed TachyHealth.

Commenting on the deal, Dr. Osama AbouElkhir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TachyHealth, stated: “The need for accurate and efficient medical coding in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has never been more critical,”

He observed that medical billing and coding directly impacts the quality of care and the financial well-being of the healthcare system in the country.

Our new language model for Saudi medical coders is based on the most sophisticated machine learning engine to ensure a value-based user experience,” asserted Dr. Osama AbouElkhir.

This news comes as TachyHealth is working closely with Saudi-based Medical Refill to provide an intelligent guide for physicians at the point of care using artificial intelligence.
