LEBANON – The Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) has teamed up with the global streaming platform Bigo Live to support the cancer treatment journey of young patients in the Middle East.

Through this strategic collaboration, Bigo Live has pledged to make an outstanding charitable contribution of US$15,000 to the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon.

It builds on CCCL’s efforts to reduce the burden of cancer on patients and families through advocacy, capacity building, and awareness raising.

Moreover, the agreement cements Bigo Live’s reputation as a corporate leader in the live streaming industry, showcasing its dedication to creating memorable experiences for users.

Bigo Live is a free live streaming platform owned by Singapore-based Bigo Technology, which develops proprietary artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies.

Users can go live, and watch live streams, live games, live shows, and video chat online via the Bigo Live mobile broadcasting application.

By engaging in different charitable initiatives, Bigo Live aims to strengthen the bond between its users and their communities, making a significant impact in the lives of those in need and ultimately promoting positive changes in our societies.

Bigo Live has entered into a meaningful collaboration with the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon as part of a shared vision of making a tangible difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

We believe that every act of kindness, no matter how small, has the power to create a ripple of hope in the lives of children battling cancer,” said Saad Kurdi, International Fundraising and Events Supervisor at the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL).

As part of this collaboration, the global live streaming platform has taken up a prominent role as an official donor of the esteemed “Hands of Hope” initiative.

The Hands of Hope initiative enables sponsors, including Bigo Live, to leave a lasting mark by supporting CCCL’s patients and covering the expenses of their vital treatment.

It is part of CCCL’s primary objective to create a solid network of cancer non-governmental organizations working together for greater impact in Lebanon.

What’s more, Bigo Live hosted special live streaming sessions and planned offline events aimed at spreading joy to children with cancer in the Middle East as part of the Hands of Hope initiative.

Bigo Live’s Charity Ambassadors organized a heartwarming event designed specifically to offer the children at CCCL a day they will cherish forever.

By aligning its platform with compassion, kindness, and togetherness, Bigo Live establishes itself as more than just a technological platform—it becomes a community that values corporate social responsibility.

The charitable event featured a special event for the children, and a donation ceremony to officialize Bigo Live’s generous contribution to CCCL.

Additionally, Bigo Live introduced a dedicated ‘Eid Al Adha’ event page beginning on June 15th, 2023 until June 28th, 2023 which targeted users in the Middle East region.

Bigo Live not only introduces a glimmer of hope into the lives of children battling cancer but also receives a special certificate adorned with the handprint representing the mark Bigo Live left at CCCL and in the lives of Children fighting cancer.

Together with Bigo Live, we are united in our mission to bring smiles, joy, and healing to those who need it the most. Let us hold their hands, leave our mark of compassion, and ignite a beacon of hope that will illuminate their path to recovery,” underscored Saad Kurdi.
