UAE – The Gulf Intervention Society (GIS) is gearing up to host the second edition of its medical educational valve program in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
This year’s medical educational program will be held at the Conrad Hotel Dubai on the 2nd and 3rd of June with discussions about the latest developments related to heart valve diseases.
Organized by Icom Group, the symposium will feature live and direct industry briefings on the latest medical research and treatments related to valves and various heart diseases.
The 2nd medical educational heart valve program will be held in a hybrid mode as it can be accessed by both in-person participants and virtual participants.
The medical educational program promises to bring together a diverse group of experts and several specialists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond.
It is part of the Gulf Intervention Society’s efforts to provide the best activities and events to enhance communications between specialists from different parts of the MENA region and the world.
Under the supervision of the Gulf Intervention Society, this forthcoming program was developed by a group of experts from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
It is the brainchild of Dr. Rasha Al Bawardy (Saudi Arabia), Dr. Sondos Samargandy (Saudi Arabia), Dr. Ahmed Al Alshatty (Kuwait), Dr. Abdulrahman Al Nabti (Qatar), Dr. Arif Al Nooryani (UAE), Dr. Fahad Baslaib (UAE), Dr. Husain Noor (Bahrain) and Dr. Mohammed Al Mukhaini (Oman).
The two-day event offers a chance for nationally, regionally, and internationally renowned cardiologists, catheters, and specialists to engage in the latest scientific findings in heart valve treatments.
What’s more, there will be live broadcasting from several major hospitals to provide an educational plan based on scientific research and broad knowledge in concerted efforts to support young cardiologists.
In-person attendees will be welcomed by the GIS Board, which forms part of the Gulf Heart Association – a leading, non-profit, professional, regional cardiology organization.
It focuses on and aligns with the Gulf Heart Association’s vision to implement modern ideas and innovations by creating comprehensive educational and development programs.
In turn, the comprehensive programs will provide practical clinical treatments and improve the chance of survival and quality of life for patients in the GCC countries and worldwide.
Following the success of its 2022 edition, participants are expected to gain insights into the latest methods, best-used technologies, and techniques in cardiology, surgery, and cardiac catheterization.
This medical program will be an interactive scientific platform for cardiologists to discuss the latest heart problems and injuries as well as address complex cases in the treatment of mitral valve disease.
Cardiologists will explore effective treatment approaches and exchange knowledge about local complex cases that GCC local consultants and experts treat.
Moreover, the second edition of the medical educational valve program presents an opportunity to spread knowledge and awareness about heart valve disease in the GCC population.
It could pave the way for key healthcare stakeholders to organize similar vents where specialists can converge and exchange experiences in the field of cardiac and its treatments to improve the levels of medical service.
