UAE – The fifth edition of the International Patient Experience Symposium is scheduled to take place at the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl in the United Arab Emirates.

This year’s gathering will feature a range of knowledge-sharing sessions and panel discussions taking place from 18th May to 19th May 2023 at the Al Bateen-based luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi

Participants are expected to gain insights into the latest methods and techniques to enhance patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.

The attendees will also explore alternative and more effective approaches to medical information and data management in enhancing the experience of patients in the Arab region.

These approaches will provide a huge resource of information that can be collected, analysed, and used to improve patient experience (PX).

Besides peer-to-peer networking, participants will learn about the application of cutting-edge technologies, strategies, and best practices to drive an optimal patient experience.

Digital transformation and the transition to value-based care are pushing care providers to change their patient experience approach.

Furthermore, the fifth edition of the International Patient Experience Symposium is set to gather over 40 global veterans in the patient experience discipline.

This conference will be backed by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre, and Burjeel Holdings.

The event partners include Merative, Mubadala Health, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, Cedars-Sinai, Gilead, Ambulatory Healthcare Services, Accreditation Canada, NHS Elect, and NMC ProVita International Medical Center.

The two-day summit will be held under the theme of “Powering Humanity, Humility & Innovation at the Forefront”.

Commenting on this exclusive in-person event, Dr. Hassa Saif Al Mazrouei, the Medical Director of Patient Experience and the Director of the Internship Program at SSMC, asserted: “Improving patient experience is a key priority for the healthcare sector.”

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician outlined that patient experience strategies need to be highly focused on a culture-wide change based on creating mutual care and respect, and, in turn, this can be measured and analyzed in the future.

Healthcare organizations must approach patient care holistically, considering both the clinical aspects of treatment and the overall patient experience,” noted Dr. Hassa Al Mazrouei.

Moreover, Dr. Hassa Al Mazrouei will deliver an exclusive presentation titled ‘’Creating a Culture of Mutual Care and Respect: A Shared Responsibility for Those Serving & Being Served’’ at the upcoming event.

This year’s International Patient Experience Symposium will be a unique platform for experts to share their insights and discuss key factors in transforming the patient experience and championing patient engagement.

The annual event aims to positively impact the quality of life for patients, families, practitioners, and the community alike.
