UAE-based IntelliDent AI partners with India’s MAHE to advance AI in dentistry

UAE—IntelliDent AI, a pioneering health technology company based in Dubai, is revolutionising the field of dentistry through the application of artificial intelligence (AI).

This follows its recent partnership with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in India, a prestigious institution recognized globally for academic excellence.

This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that spans three years, aiming to accelerate innovation in AI-driven oral healthcare by combining research, education, and entrepreneurship.

The MoU, signed on behalf of MAHE’s Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS) in Mangalore, establishes a strong foundation for cooperation between academia and industry.

The goal is to develop advanced dental AI solutions that are ready for the future while also equipping students with the necessary technical skills and entrepreneurial mindset to lead the next wave of digital healthcare advancements.

One of the key components of this partnership is the launch of joint research programs.

Through these initiatives, MAHE and IntelliDent AI will work together to explore AI applications in dental diagnostics, public health, and healthcare innovation.

Their collaborative efforts are expected to result in valuable academic publications, patents, and whitepapers that contribute to the global knowledge base.

In addition to research, the partnership emphasizes practical training and internships.

MAHE students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by interning at IntelliDent AI, where they will receive mentorship from industry experts.

This exposure will be further enhanced through guest lectures and workshops designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application.

Moreover, the collaboration aims to foster entrepreneurial development.

This will involve cohort-based learning modules, innovation hackathons, and support for student-led startups.

Another important aspect of the MoU is knowledge exchange.
