UAE Ministry of Education partners with Burjeel Holdings to enhance healthcare services

UAE –The Ministry of Education (MoE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Burjeel Holdings to provide enhanced healthcare services for its employees, their families, and students across all educational levels.

The agreement, signed at the Ministry’s headquarters in Dubai, aims to improve the overall well-being of educators and students and ensure a supportive and healthy learning environment. 

Key figures attended the signing ceremony, including Her Excellency Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education; His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education; Her Excellency Sheikha Khulood Al Qassimi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Supervision Sector; Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings; and Mr. John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings. Other senior officials from both entities were also present. 

Under the partnership, Burjeel Holdings will expand its ‘IFHAS’ initiative, offering comprehensive health checks to help detect and prevent chronic diseases among Ministry employees and their families.

Additionally, fitness assessments and vaccination programs will be rolled out for students nationwide. 

The MoU also provides a range of exclusive benefits for Ministry employees. These include discounts on uninsured medical services, home care options, and access to priority services across all Burjeel Holdings facilities.

A dedicated 24-hour helpline will be available to address healthcare concerns.

Furthermore, Burjeel Holdings will organize monthly awareness campaigns and conduct live or virtual sessions focusing on mental and physical health and overall quality of life. 

Highlighting the importance of this collaboration, His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Al Qasim noted that the Ministry remains committed to improving students’ and employees’ quality of life.

He emphasized that fostering a healthy educational environment aligns with the Ministry’s responsibility to educators and students and supports the UAE’s broader vision of sustainability and progress across sectors. 

Echoing these sentiments, Mr. John Sunil expressed pride in partnering with the Ministry of Education.

He stated that the collaboration reflects Burjeel Holdings’ dedication to promoting a healthier society.

 The initiative aims to empower the next generation and build a brighter, healthier future for all by ensuring access to quality healthcare.
