UAE – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) has forged a strategic healthcare partnership with Burjeel Holdings, a leading private healthcare service provider in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

As part of this strategic deal, Burjeel Holdings will offer MoFAIC’s employees and their families access to a wide range of specialized healthcare services at its healthcare facilities throughout the MENA region.

The new agreement is envisaged as a foundational structure for enhanced coordination and reciprocal cooperation between both parties to enhance the quality of life of their communities.

The joint statement said: “This agreement spurs from the desire of both parties to consolidate areas of existing cooperation and communication and to benefit from various activities and participations related to the provision of medical services.”

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Abdullah Mohammad Alblooki, the Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Affairs at the MoFAIC, and Omran Al Khoori, a member of the Board of Directors of Burjeel Holdings and the Group’s Business Development President.

The latest alliance aligns with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s unwavering dedication to ensuring premium healthcare for its employees and their families.

It will further contribute to the achievement of the Ministry’s strategic objectives to raise awareness campaigns at the national and local level, and support shared sports and cultural activities.

The excellent reputation and robust healthcare provision capability of Burjeel Holdings, demonstrated by its state-of-the-art hospitals, contribute to the superior level of medical services offered to the Ministry’s employees and their dependents,” the companies claimed.

Moreover, United Arab Emirates’ MoFAIC seeks to increase access to comprehensive and proactive health and therapeutic services through this cooperation.

The government entity encourages cross-sector partnerships, embraces cutting-edge health and therapeutic technologies, and promotes initiatives of social responsibility.

Commenting on the latest valuable partnership, Omran Al Khoori asserted: “We are pleased to play our role in social responsibility by serving and meeting the needs of those working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.”

He underscored that the partnership will build on Burjeel’s significant achievements in the health sector in the United Arab Emirates while reinforcing the necessity of integration between roles of different departments at the MoFAIC.

It highlights our capabilities in delivering world-class healthcare through a network of hospitals, cutting-edge technologies, and multiple specialties,” said Al Khoori.

He outlined that Burjeel has dedicated healthcare professionals who are committed to upholding the highest standard of care and ensuring the well-being of the Ministry’s employees and guests.

Through similar collaborations, we strive to enhance our role in serving the community and participate in accomplishing the vision of the UAE’s leaders,” added Al Khoori.
