UAE – NMC Healthcare Group has opened its newest state-of-the-art hospital located at the Dubai Investments Park (DIP) in the Emirate of Dubai.

The opening of the NMC Specialty Hospital underpins DIP’s commitment to facilitate quality living and provide top-notch healthcare facilities to residents and visitors across DIP and the surrounding areas.

Covering an area of 125,000 square feet, the NMC Specialty Hospital houses four operation theatres, seven ultra-modern Intensive Care Unit beds, five dialysis rooms and several day-care surgery units.

It will offer a wide range of specialized healthcare services across subspecialities in the field of Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonology, Urology, Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine.

Commenting on this investment, David Hadley, the Chief Executive Officer of NMC Healthcare Group said: “Serving communities by delivering quality healthcare outcomes is a major priority for NMC.”

The newest facility will serve as an extension of the NMC Royal Hospital, a 67-bed state-of-the-art hospital based at DIP, commissioned by the NMC Healthcare Group in 2014.

The NMC Specialty Hospital will complement the efforts of the Group’s healthcare facilities, aligning with its mission to meet the healthcare needs of the community members.

“The new hospital, will create more than 250 job opportunities and provide patients with the highest quality of specialized care in line with international standards,” stated David Hadley.

Located at the Dubai Investments, this hospital will cater to medical needs of communities in the Jebel Ali Industrial Area, The Gardens and Discovery Gardens, Expo City, Al Furjan, Remraam, Jumeirah Circle, JTV, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Marina, and Al Barsha.

The launch of the new 51-bed hospital in Dubai will be a major boost to healthcare infrastructure operated under the NMC Healthcare Group.

Overall, the NMC Specialty Hospital will help to increase patient access to the highest quality of specialized healthcare services, and improve healthcare accessibility across the region.

It will further contribute to cementing Dubai’s global status as the best city in the world to live and work in and the preferred destination for business, investment, and tourism.

The NMC Specialty Hospital was inaugurated by His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority.

It was inaugurated in the presence of Omar Al Mesmar, the General Manager of the Dubai Investments Park, and David Hadley, the Chief Executive Officer of NMC Healthcare Group.

A handful of doctors and officials from the NMC Healthcare Group were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
