Valu partners with Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation to simplify donations for new heart center

EGYPT— Valu, MENA’s leading global financial technology company, announced a collaboration with the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation (MYF), an established humanitarian organization dedicated to cardiovascular health.

This agreement intends to provide donors with an easy, alternative payment method for donating to the foundation, specifically to help fund the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre, which is presently being built in Cairo.

Valu will use its new payment option, SparkIt, to allow donors to contribute to MYF in convenient one-month payments with no additional fees.

The collaboration seeks to simplify the contribution procedure and make it more accessible to people who want to support the foundation and the creation of the cutting-edge Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre.

Donations made through SparkIt will help to fund operations and catheterizations, as well as provide naming opportunities for the new facility’s construction and equipment. This allows supporters to have a long-term impact on cardiovascular healthcare in Egypt.

Commenting on the partnership, Motaz Lotfy, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships Senior Director of Valu, noted that this partnership aligns perfectly with Valu’s mission to empower individuals and positively impact society.

He went on to remark that the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre, led by MYF, aims to meet Egypt’s and the world’s growing demand for superior cardiovascular care.

According to Lotfy, SparkIt allows contributors to donate to MYF’s purpose with convenience and flexibility, with no additional costs, ensuring that the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre is a reality.

This dedication to financial inclusivity extends beyond regular transactions, and they are proud to support MYF in its efforts to promote cardiovascular healthcare.

On her part, Reem Gadelrab, Marketing and Communications Director of the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, stated that by partnering with Valu, they are moving closer to their aim of offering comprehensive cardiovascular treatment.

Gadelrab went on to note that with Valu’s help, they are getting closer to finishing the Magdi Yacoub Global Heart Centre in Cairo, which will treat 120,000 patients a year, including 60% paediatric cases, and undertake 12,000 surgical procedures.

This partnership not only simplifies donations, but it also supports medical training for 1,750 professionals each year.
