QATAR – Vodafone Qatar is rolling out a new awareness campaign designed to shed light on the importance of the safety and health of the company’s workforce.
Vodafone Qatar provides a comprehensive range of services including voice, messaging, data, fixed communications, IoT, and ICT-managed services in the State of Qatar, for both consumers and businesses alike.
Through its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Vodafone Qatar is running a new campaign featuring a series of workshops, seminars, and consultations for its employees.
The new campaign aims to increase awareness of health-related topics, with a special focus on the importance of health and safety in the workplace and support for regular medical check-ups.
The campaign, which will run until November 14, has been organized in partnership with leading healthcare entities situated in the State of Qatar.
The campaign has been conceptualized by Vodafone Qatar, in collaboration with the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar Diabetes Association, Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), Naseem Healthcare, Doha Industrial Safety Services, and Second Bite.
Vodafone plays a pivotal role in addressing the gap between an organization’s digital health ambitions and today’s paper-based reality to ease the increasing burden on healthcare systems.
Tailored to the needs of hospitals, clinics, and healthcare technology leaders, Vodaphone’s digital solutions can free up capacity, create more time for patients, and improve workforce retention.
It is worth highlighting that the Human Development pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030 emphasizes how an effective healthcare system is critical to the State’s success because it directly impacts social productivity and economic competitiveness.
With the support of the Ministry of Public Health, Qatar is one of the few countries in the world to utilize a Clinical Information System across its entire public health sector, connecting the entire system through shared patient information.
The launch of the new awareness campaign further underpins Vodafone Qatar’s Health, Safety, and Wellbeing Policy and its commitment to creating a robust health, safety, and wellbeing culture within the organization.
With just over a week to go until the awareness campaign comes to an end, Vodafone Qatar conducted a blood donation drive at the Vodafone offices in Lusail and Msheireb.
The blood drive was part of activities commemorating the awareness campaign, according to the press release published by Vodafone Qatar.
The wide range of activities will focus on nutrition and healthy eating, and the benefits of regular vehicle inspections, check-ups, and educational information around health topics, including cancer, diabetes, and dental conditions.
As part of the new campaign, Vodafone Qatar will also host a comprehensive workshop dedicated to the foundations of health and safety standards in the workplace.
