UAE – Watani Al Emarat Foundation and Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery have signed a collaboration agreement to offer world-class healthcare services to the former’s employees and their families.

The agreement sets a comprehensive framework for cooperation between the Watani Al Emarat Foundation and Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, a part of Burjeel Holdings.

Burjeel Holdings’ premium healthcare brand, Burjeel is the most comprehensive private tertiary healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates.

The Burjeel Hospitals have been at the forefront of healthcare services in the region and have emerged as the Center of Medical Excellence across the United Arab Emirates.

Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, a part of Burjeel Holdings, was commissioned with the sole purpose of being the leading orthopedic and joint care facility in the region while providing luxurious treatment.

Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery will offer extensive healthcare services and benefits to the employees of Watani Al Emarat Foundation in line with the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to foster collaboration.

Consequently, the agreement marks an important point of progress in harnessing the comprehensive healthcare services and benefits offered by Burjeel Hospitals.

The legal document was signed by His Excellency Dherar Belhoul Al Falasi, Director General of the Watani Al Emarat Foundation, and Mr. Bruno D Souza, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai and Northern Emirates Operations at Burjeel Holdings.

Speaking on the new deal, Mr. Bruno D Souza, Chief Operating Officer of Dubai and Northern Emirates at Burjeel Holdings said: “The agreement has the power to generate future prospects in the UAE, especially potential partnerships with public entities.”

Mr. Bruno D Souza further said that the agreement with Watani Al Emarat Foundation can contribute to significant progress in supporting the healthcare ecosystem and providing people with the best services.

Moreover, Watani Al Emarat Foundation will also work closely with Burjeel Hospital to support the latter’s health awareness campaigns designed to increase public awareness of community health concerns.

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has issued Law No. 7 of 2018, establishing Watani Al Emarat Foundation as a public entity.

The foundation is tasked with coordinating with concerned authorities to develop comprehensive strategic plans in areas related to the UAE’s national identity and society, good citizenship, political participation, and development of youth.

It is also tasked with supporting community volunteering initiatives by coordinating with entities both inside and outside the Emirates.

Watani Al Emarat Foundation’s newest partnership underscores its commitment to ensuring the overall well-being of its team and opening the door for advanced healthcare support for its employees.
