UAE – Zulekha Healthcare Group has signed a collaboration agreement with Sharjah Health Authority to invest in quality healthcare for communities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“The organizations aim to work on various community initiatives to ensure residents have easy access to hospital & homecare and pharmacy services offered by Zulekha Hospital in their Dubai and Sharjah facilities.” the Zulekha Healthcare Group informed in a statement.
The Group includes two multidisciplinary hospitals in Dubai and Sharjah, as well as three UAE medical centres and three pharmacies providing specialized treatments in over 30 disciplines. It has also established a multidisciplinary Hospital in Nagpur, Central India – Alexis.
On its site, the Group highlights that Zulekha Hospital has received extensive recognition for its commitment towards quality care and sustainable business practices including the prestigious Dubai Quality Award.
Subsequently, the private-public partnership between Zulekha Healthcare Group and Sharjah Health Authority is in line with the Group’s underling commitment to provide high quality healthcare to patients and society.
The private-public partnership will offer medical treatments and related services to employees of the Government of Sharjah, their dependents and retirees under insurance coverage.
It will also provide exceptional medical services to elderly residents in the Emirate of Sharjah who have not acquired insurance coverage, and UAE nationals based in the Emirate of Sharjah.
In addition, the collaboration aligns with the key objective of the Sharjah Health Authority to enhance, evolve and regulate the healthcare system in the city in the United Arab Emirates.
The Chairman of Sharjah Health Authority His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed Bin Butti Al Mheiri signed the agreement on behalf of the Sharjah Government while Mr. Taher Shams who is the Managing Director of Zulekha Healthcare Group signed on behalf of the body.
Commenting on the private-public partnership, His Excellency Dr. Abdelaziz Saeed said: “Healthcare needs including those of senior citizens are essential and can be met diligently with access to readily available convenient services from a reputed provider.”
He reaffirmed that that they are constantly engaged in ensuring the best of the health care services are availed to residents in Sharjah while expressing his willingness to collaborate with Zulekha Healthcare Group, a pioneer in healthcare sector of UAE.
At the same time, Mr. Taher Shams said that it is our privilege to be associated with Sharjah Health Authority as it will support the Group to reach more communities in need while ensuring timely service provision.
