INDIA – Tarundeep Singh Rana, who was previously associated with Sun Pharma Consumer Healthcare, has been appointed as the new Chief Marketing Officer of Zydus Healthcare Limited.

In his new role, Tarundeep Singh Rana will be responsible for leading and setting the strategic vision for Zydus Healthcare Limited’s global marketing team.
The incoming CMO is expected to leverage his past experiences in the healthcare industry to oversee the company’s brand marketing vision, strategy, and execution.
It is in line with the parent organization’s mission to unlock new possibilities in life sciences through quality healthcare solutions that impact lives.

Before his current stint, Rana served at Sun Pharma Consumer Healthcare for 6 years as the Head of Marketing & eCommerce.
He also worked as the Director for the over-the-counter (OTC) segment for Emerging Markets at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company.
With professional experience spanning over 23 years, he has a proven track record leading big global brands as well as establishing new brands in the consumer healthcare domain across India and emerging markets.
He has championed initiatives across multi-category, multi-channel environments (especially Healthcare, Personal Care, and Modern Trade), resulting in accelerated revenue growth and enhanced profitability.
With a track record of delivering long-term sustainable growth, Rana offers an ideal mix of strong strategic thinking combined with the unique ability to manage short-term goals.
His appointment comes months after Zydus Lifesciences Limited, a part of the Zydus Group, appointed healthcare entrepreneur Upasana Kamineni Konidela as an Independent Director for a five-year term.
