The collaboration centers on developing targeted radiopharmaceuticals that leverage Regeneron’s antibody portfolio and VelocImmune mice technology.

USA—Telix Pharmaceuticals and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals have announced a landmark partnership that could reach USD4.3 billion to develop and commercialize cutting-edge radiopharmaceutical therapies for cancer treatment.
The agreement brings together Telix’s proven expertise in radiopharmaceutical manufacturing and global supply chain infrastructure with Regeneron’s leadership in biologics and bispecific antibody discovery.
This combination positions both companies to advance precision oncology treatments that target solid tumors with greater accuracy.
Regeneron is contributing an initial USD 40 million upfront payment to gain access to Telix’s radiopharmaceutical manufacturing platform for four therapeutic programs.
The partnership structure allows Regeneron to expand into an additional four programs through further upfront payments, with the total deal value reaching USD4.3 billion if the company exercises this expansion option.
Financial terms and milestone payments
Under the agreement, Telix stands to receive up to USD 2.1 billion in development and commercial milestone payments across the initial four programs, in addition to low double-digit royalties on net sales.
Should Regeneron decide to step back from funding a particular program, Telix has the option to continue independently and earn up to USD 535 million in milestone payments plus royalties from any resulting products.
Both companies will share development costs and profits equally worldwide, with Telix retaining the option to co-promote select products in key markets.
Focus on precision oncology
The collaboration centers on developing targeted radiopharmaceuticals that leverage Regeneron’s antibody portfolio and VelocImmune mice technology.
John Lin, senior vice-president of oncology and antibody technology research at Regeneron, explained the company’s vision for the partnership.
“We follow the science to determine the best therapeutic approach for each disease,” Lin stated, emphasizing Regeneron’s commitment to expanding its treatment options.
“Targeted radiopharmaceuticals represent a rapidly emerging frontier in oncology and offer exciting new treatment possibilities for patients.”
Beyond therapeutics, both companies plan to develop diagnostic assets to support treatment selection and monitor patient response.
Telix will lead the commercialization of these diagnostic tools, while Regeneron receives a predetermined share of the profits.
Recent industry activity
This partnership reflects growing momentum in the radiopharmaceutical space and complements Regeneron’s broader strategy in emerging therapies.
In December 2025, Regeneron teamed up with Tessera Therapeutics to create and sell a new program for treating a rare disease called TSRA-196, showing the company’s varied strategy for developing new treatments.
