Trellis Health is adopting an artificial intelligence-centred approach from the outset, allowing it to build its digital infrastructure without the constraints of legacy systems.

Newsweek compiled the rankings in collaboration with Statista to recognise hospitals adopting digital technologies in healthcare delivery.

The initiative builds on two years of collaboration following a memorandum of understanding signed by DoH and Novartis on 5 June 2024.

Under the partnership, Schneider Electric will provide PureHealth with access to its EcoStruxure Resource Advisor platform and establish a framework for developing sustainable infrastructure strategies across its facilities.

Organised by the UAE–UK Business Council with support from Haleon, the UK–UAE Collaboration in Wellbeing & Longevity Summit brought together representatives from government, regulatory agencies, insurance, healthcare and life sciences.

The proposed collaboration covers precision nutrition, longevity and healthy ageing, supportive oncology programmes, clinician education and research.

The collaboration will assess MILTON, AstraZeneca’s AI-powered disease prediction platform, for use in UAE populations, focusing initially on type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Ustekinumab is a monoclonal antibody used to treat certain immune-mediated inflammatory conditions, including plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

The collaboration will focus on connecting business functions, improving access to information and using emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support faster decision-making across the Group.
