Bamberg brings more than 20 years of international experience in regulated manufacturing, with expertise spanning medical devices, combination products and pharmaceutical production.

As Chief Executive Officer, Dr Kimbui will lead the Association’s operations as it continues to represent doctors and engage on healthcare issues in Kenya.

In her new role, she will help strengthen the hospital’s nursing services while supporting efficient, high-quality patient care.

Kerry will work with governments, development partners, multilateral institutions, civil society and the private sector to advocate for stronger health systems and more sustainable health financing.

The appointment of Rabier is intended to help Sanner maximize these expanded capabilities by developing new markets, strengthening relationships with customers, and supporting the company’s international growth strategy.

Dr Tapela holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Harvard University.

The appointments will see Dr. Patel take over the chairmanship from Dr. Manoj Shah, who has led the Board through a period of significant development for the Nairobi-based hospital.

Kalyan brings nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, including 18 years with Novo Nordisk.

The appointment comes as Africa intensifies efforts to strengthen its response to the ongoing Ebola outbreak while accelerating the development of African-led medicines, vaccines and outbreak-ready innovations.
