Cambridge Health Group signs Oracle MoU to improve healthcare operations in UAE

The collaboration will focus on connecting business functions, improving access to information and using emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support faster decision-making across the Group.

UAE—Cambridge Health Group (CHG), a subsidiary of Amanat Holdings PJSC, has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Oracle to improve operational efficiency and support patient-centred care across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The agreement was signed during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit as CHG seeks to strengthen its operational systems and support its regional expansion.

The collaboration will focus on connecting business functions, improving access to information and using emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to support faster decision-making across the Group.

Cloud technology to streamline operations

Under the MoU, CHG plans to explore Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for finance, human resources and supply chain management.

The proposed scope includes Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM).

These applications could help CHG coordinate resources, manage its workforce and improve supply chain processes across its healthcare facilities.

Such integration is increasingly important for regional healthcare providers managing multiple facilities and services, as they seek to control operating costs while maintaining consistent care standards.

CHG specialises in physical rehabilitation, long-term care and home healthcare, where patients often require coordinated support across different stages of treatment.

Connecting information and teams could help the Group improve transitions from inpatient rehabilitation to outpatient services and home-based care.

The companies will also assess Oracle Health clinical solutions, including electronic health records (EHR), and evaluate implementation requirements.

Any EHR deployment will require separate definitive agreements, and the current MoU does not constitute a binding commitment to implement these systems.

Focus on integrated healthcare delivery

Wael Abdallah, Group Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Health Group, said the Group aims to expand its operations while maintaining consistent standards of care across its markets.

He said investment in infrastructure and technology would help its hospitals and healthcare professionals work more effectively as CHG expands across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The partnership with Oracle is intended to establish the operational foundations for a more integrated and resilient organisation serving patients and families across the region.

Seema Verma, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, said healthcare transformation depends on equipping teams with the tools and information needed to improve care delivery.

She explained that Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications could connect CHG’s finance, workforce and supply chain functions, helping management make informed decisions and allocate resources more effectively.

Assessing Oracle Health’s clinical solutions could also create opportunities to connect clinical and administrative operations.

The companies will jointly determine the scope, requirements and timelines of individual initiatives as the collaboration progresses.
