eyonis LCS is a Software as a Medical Device that uses AI to assist clinicians in detecting and diagnosing lung cancer during screening workflows.

USA— Median Technologies has entered into a commercial partnership with Olea Medical, a subsidiary of Canon Medical Systems, to support the commercialisation of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based lung cancer screening software, eyonis LCS, in the US and Europe.
eyonis LCS is a Software as a Medical Device that uses AI to assist clinicians in detecting and diagnosing lung cancer during screening workflows.
The technology is designed to help identify potential cancers at an earlier stage, when treatment may be more effective.
The partnership comes after Median Technologies secured key regulatory milestones for eyonis LCS in its target markets.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared the software in February 2026, while the product received CE marking in Europe in July 2026.
These regulatory approvals enable Median Technologies to advance the commercial deployment of eyonis LCS across the US and European markets, where lung cancer screening increasingly relies on computed tomography (CT) imaging to identify suspicious lung abnormalities.
Olea Medical to support commercial rollout
Canon Medical Systems provides CT imaging systems that can be used alongside eyonis LCS in lung cancer screening workflows.
Through the new agreement, Olea Medical will leverage its commercial network and market presence to help facilitate the rollout of the AI-based screening software.
Median Technologies said the agreement forms part of its strategy to expand eyonis LCS through a combination of direct sales and non-exclusive commercial partnerships in its priority markets.
The company is pursuing a scalable commercial model that allows it to work with established healthcare technology and imaging companies while maintaining its own direct sales activities.
Fredrik Brag, CEO and founder of Median Technologies, said the partnership with Olea Medical represents another step towards building this commercial model across the US and Europe.
He said the company aims to combine direct sales efforts with a network of strategic commercial partnerships to support the wider adoption of eyonis LCS.
Brag added that the agreement with Olea Medical, which follows Median Technologies’ partnership with Tempus AI, represents another important milestone in the company’s commercialisation strategy for the lung cancer screening software.
According to Median Technologies, working with complementary industry partners will allow the company to expand the number of channels through which healthcare providers can access eyonis LCS.
Expansion of commercial partnerships
Median Technologies also plans to establish additional partnerships with companies operating across the healthcare technology and medical imaging sectors.
Potential partners include imaging software developers, medical imaging modality companies, picture archiving and communication system (PACS) providers, clinical data platforms and other healthcare industry participants.
Through these partnerships, the company intends to expand the market presence of eyonis LCS and support its adoption in lung cancer screening programmes across its key markets.
