Dubai Health partners with Boston Children’s Hospital to transform pediatric care in UAE

This collaboration establishes a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen pediatric services throughout Dubai Health’s extensive network of medical facilities.

UAE—Dubai Health and Boston Children’s Hospital have joined forces in a strategic partnership aimed at elevating children’s healthcare across the United Arab Emirates.

The two institutions recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will focus on clinical excellence, education, research initiatives, and philanthropic efforts to benefit young patients throughout the region.

Dr Ryan Nagy, President and Chief Operating Officer of Boston Children’s Hospital, and Dr Mohamed Al Awadhi, Executive Director of the Dubai Health Women and Children’s Campus, formalized the agreement during a signing ceremony in Dubai.

 The Dubai Health Women and Children’s Campus encompasses several key facilities, including Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Latifa Hospital, and the Dubai Fertility Centre, creating a comprehensive network for maternal and pediatric care.

This collaboration establishes a comprehensive framework designed to strengthen pediatric services throughout Dubai Health’s extensive network of medical facilities.

The partnership brings together two leading healthcare organizations, each contributing distinct expertise and resources to improve outcomes for children and their families.

A distinguished delegation from Boston Children’s Hospital traveled to Dubai for the signing ceremony and exploratory discussions.

The visiting team comprised senior clinical leaders and academic experts who specialize in various aspects of pediatric medicine.

 Dr Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, welcomed the delegation alongside members of Dubai Health’s executive leadership team, underscoring the significance of this international collaboration.

During the visit, Dr Nagy emphasized that this partnership represents a mutual commitment to advancing pediatric care standards, enhancing educational opportunities for healthcare professionals, and fostering groundbreaking research that will benefit children across the region.

 He noted that both organizations share a vision of delivering exceptional outcomes for young patients and supporting families through comprehensive, compassionate care.

Dr Al Awadhi highlighted several key benefits that will emerge from working alongside one of the world’s premier pediatric institutions.

The collaboration will enhance the quality of care delivered to patients, expand training opportunities for medical professionals, advance research and innovation in pediatric medicine, and strengthen Dubai Health’s dedication to meaningful philanthropic initiatives.
