Inocras secures US$31M Series B-3 funding to drive U.S. expansion of cancer genomics

USA— Precision oncology company Inocras has secured US$31 million in an oversubscribed Series B-3 financing round, lifting the company’s total funding to approximately US$100 million.

The fresh capital will support the company’s expansion into the U.S. market as it seeks to broaden access to whole-genome sequencing for cancer diagnosis, biomarker discovery and disease monitoring.

The financing round attracted a mix of new and existing investors, reflecting growing confidence in Inocras’ genomic technologies.

Strategic investors NDS Corporation and Aimed Bio Inc. joined existing backers DSC Investment, Dunamu & Partners and InterVest, while new investors included Korea Investment & Securities, Shinhan Securities, Woori Investment & Securities, DT& Investment, IMM Investment and LoftyRock Investment.

Expanding Whole-Genome Cancer Analysis

Based in San Diego, Inocras specializes in whole-genome sequencing supported by its proprietary bioinformatics platform.

The company focuses on comprehensive genomic profiling for patients with solid tumors, enabling clinicians to identify a wide range of genetic alterations that may influence diagnosis, treatment selection and clinical trial eligibility.

Its flagship test, CancerVision, combines whole-genome sequencing with genome-wide biomarker analysis to detect diverse genomic changes linked to cancer.

The platform differentiates tumor-specific mutations from inherited genetic variants, allowing clinicians to obtain a more accurate picture of a patient’s cancer while also generating customized analyses of genome-wide biomarkers.

Inocras also offers MRDVision, a blood-based monitoring test designed to detect minimal residual disease (MRD).

Unlike conventional approaches that rely on targeted gene panels, MRDVision uses each patient’s whole-genome profile generated by CancerVision as a personalized reference.

The test then tracks circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) across the entire genome, providing a more individualized method for monitoring disease progression and treatment response.

Beyond laboratory testing, the company supports researchers, healthcare providers, and patients through genetic counseling services.

Inocras also helps match eligible patients with clinical trials by analyzing genomic biomarkers alongside other clinical criteria.

Funding to Strengthen U.S. Presence

The newly raised capital will enable Inocras to expand its commercial operations and clinical infrastructure across the United States.

The company also plans to strengthen collaborations with hospitals and healthcare providers while generating additional clinical evidence to support wider adoption of whole-genome sequencing in routine cancer care.

“We have already seen meaningful adoption across cancer institutions in Asia, where our technology has been used in thousands of patient cases,” said Jehee Suh, Chief Executive Officer of Inocras.

“Our next objective is to bring that clinical experience to the United States and help make whole-genome analysis a standard part of cancer care.”

He explained that this financing provides them with the resources to expand their clinical presence, support adoption in hospitals, and build the evidence and infrastructure required to achieve that goal.

Building Strategic Partnerships

The funding follows several strategic collaborations announced this year.

In July, Inocras received a strategic equity investment from South Korean biopharmaceutical company AimedBio and signed a joint research agreement to integrate its genomic technologies into AimedBio’s antibody-drug conjugate development programs for cancer.

Earlier, during the 2026 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition in March, the company partnered with South Korean IT services provider NDS to develop and commercialize genomic analysis platforms for healthcare organizations.

In addition, Inocras has established partnerships with Accent Therapeutics and Chi Mei Medical Center in Taiwan, further expanding the application of its whole-genome sequencing technologies in cancer research and precision medicine.
