EHS unveils AI-powered healthcare solutions at World Health Exhibition Dubai 2026

UAE—Emirates Health Services (EHS) is bringing the future of healthcare to life at the World Health Exhibition (WHX) Dubai 2026.

The UAE-based organization is presenting a range of AI-powered projects that represent a fundamental shift in how healthcare is designed and delivered, moving toward a smarter, more proactive system centered on patients.

These innovations aim to strengthen prevention, boost efficiency, and build a more sustainable healthcare ecosystem.

Her Excellency Mubaraka Ibrahim, Executive Director of the Information Sector and Chief AI Officer at EHS, emphasized that artificial intelligence has evolved beyond a simple support tool.

“AI has become integral to how we design services and make decisions,” she said.

“The projects we’re showcasing demonstrate our shift from fragmented solutions to an integrated smart system that can predict, intervene early, and make a real difference in care quality.

This supports the UAE’s goal of building a more efficient and sustainable health system.”

Revolutionary diagnostic tools

Among the standout clinical solutions is ‘Derma AI’, which uses computer vision to analyze skin lesion images captured through mobile phones.

The system generates a prioritized list of potential diagnoses based on specific indicators, helping doctors determine which cases need immediate attention.

This technology accelerates access to care and improves the accuracy of medical decisions.

Another preventative breakthrough is the ‘Smart Detection of Lung Cancer’ project.

This proactive screening tool uses low-dose chest CT scans combined with high-precision AI algorithms to detect subtle changes in lung tissue and identify early disease indicators before symptoms emerge.

By speeding up diagnosis and supporting clinical decisions, it improves both care quality and health outcomes.

Dr. Amina Al Jasmi, Director of the Radiology Department at EHS, described the project as a significant leap forward in medical imaging.

“Smart data analysis helps us accelerate care pathways, increase the accuracy of clinical decisions, and improve treatment outcomes,” she explained.

 “This supports our transition toward more effective preventative medicine, which directly benefits community health.”

Enhancing safety and compliance

EHS is also presenting ‘MediVision,’ a platform that uses computer vision and smart glasses to monitor risks in real-time.

The system tracks compliance with personal protective equipment, documents incidents with time-stamped evidence, analyzes patient flow and wait times, and monitors restricted areas like intensive care units.

This transforms health inspections from a subjective process into an objective, data-driven system that accelerates corrective action and ensures optimal patient safety standards.

Supporting healthcare professionals

The ‘Wareed AI Bot’ offers healthcare providers 24/7 support by streamlining daily workflows and providing instant access to clinical guidelines, training programs, and hands-free assistance.

The smart assistant also aids clinical decision-making through early condition detection and evidence-based treatment recommendations, boosting performance efficiency and improving patient outcomes.

Strengthening community health

On the community engagement side, EHS introduced the ‘Smart Blood Donation APP’, designed to make blood donation easier and more sustainable.

The platform uses predictive technology to alert donors about blood needs and upcoming campaigns.

It features smart technologies to locate donors and secure timely donations through multiple channels, including a mobile app, WhatsApp, and a voice assistant.

Direct connections between donors and blood banks enable rapid emergency response and strengthen the health system’s readiness.

Improving patient experience

The ‘Smart Concierge’ project serves as a unified point of contact for coordinating non-medical services and meeting patient needs.

This AI model improves the customer journey while relieving the burden on nursing staff, allowing healthcare professionals to focus on clinical care.

The system streamlines procedures, reduces bureaucracy, and raises operational efficiency.

Revolutionizing workforce management

‘Maitha – Nursing Workforce AI Agent’ represents an advanced approach to human resource management in healthcare.

The system conducts smart screening of candidates after preliminary interviews, analyzes video assessments, and evaluates competencies through AI-supported conversational interviews.

This helps build a highly prepared and flexible nursing staff capable of meeting the evolving needs of the healthcare system.

Dr. Sumaya Al Blooshi, Director of the Nursing Department at EHS, called the ‘Maitha’ project a transformative shift in recruiting and managing nursing talent.

 “Using AI to accurately and objectively assess skills and competencies helps us create a better-prepared workforce that can keep pace with rapidly evolving healthcare requirements while ensuring sustainable quality and patient safety,” she said.

Virtual care advancement

EHS is also showcasing ‘Amal – AI Physician Assistant’, designed to support virtual urgent care services.

The system conducts intelligent conversations to collect clinical information and generate accurate medical summaries before doctor consultations.

This accelerates medical decision-making during critical moments and provides healthcare professionals with accurate, clinically relevant information.
