Magrabi Health operates across four main specialties: ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, and dermatology.

UAE—Magrabi Health participated as an Associate Partner in the second edition of the Forbes Middle East Healthcare Summit 2026, held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Riyadh under the theme “Health at the Heart of National Progress.”

The summit brought together policymakers, healthcare leaders, investors, and representatives from healthcare and technology companies to discuss the sector’s future in Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

Discussions focused on integrated care, digital health, medical innovation, investment in technology, and ways to respond to changing patient needs.

Magrabi Health used the event to highlight developments in specialized healthcare, Centers of Excellence, medical innovation, and technology adoption.

The group also engaged with industry leaders on improving quality of care, patient safety, workforce development, and strategic partnerships.

Dr. Ghazai Al Thubaiti, Regional Director for the Central Region at Magrabi Health, delivered a Spotlight Address titled “The Future of Specialized Healthcare and the Importance of Centers of Excellence in the Saudi Healthcare Sector.”

He highlighted developments in specialized healthcare in Saudi Arabia and discussed how Centers of Excellence can improve service quality and respond to changing patient needs.

He also noted that the Kingdom’s healthcare transformation presents opportunities to expand specialized services, improve access to quality care, enhance the patient experience, and accelerate technology adoption.

According to Al Thubaiti, the private sector can support this transformation by investing in specialized capabilities, developing medical talent, adopting advanced technologies, and expanding access to specialized services.

Expanding specialized services

Magrabi Health operates across four main specialties: ophthalmology, ENT, dentistry, and dermatology.

The group provides specialized treatments and expertise while focusing on a more integrated patient experience.

In the Central Region, Magrabi Health is responding to rising demand for advanced healthcare services by expanding access to specialized expertise and increasing the use of technology.

The group is also integrating different stages of the patient journey while maintaining quality of care and patient experience as key priorities.

The group continues to invest in medical talent by attracting skilled professionals, supporting continuous training, and strengthening specialist expertise as it expands its services and geographic presence.

New developments and expansion plans

Earlier this year, Magrabi Health received “Network of Excellence in Ophthalmology” accreditation from Surgical Review Corporation, becoming the first healthcare network globally to receive the accreditation.

The recognition supports the group’s efforts to apply international standards in specialized care.

The group also opened two aesthetics clinics in Riyadh under the Mayam Aesthetics brand and upgraded and unified its digital medical record system across Saudi Arabia.

The changes are intended to improve operational efficiency and provide a more connected patient journey.

Under its 2027 strategic plan, Magrabi Health plans to open branches in Al Marwah in Jeddah and Madinah, as well as an independent center in Riyadh’s Al Narjis District.

Healthcare transformation

The Forbes Middle East Healthcare Summit 2026 also addressed resilient healthcare systems, value-based care, digital health, artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and preventive care.

Other discussions examined pharmaceutical manufacturing localization, talent development, global competitiveness, and seamless healthcare delivery.

These priorities align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Health Sector Transformation Program, which are driving changes across the healthcare sector.
