The transaction concludes a phased investment strategy that steadily increased Amanat’s control over the group.

UAE—Amanat Holdings has completed the acquisition of the remaining 10.03% stake in Cambridge Health Group (CHG) for AED 105 million (US$28.59 million), bringing its ownership to 100%.
The transaction concludes a phased investment strategy that steadily increased Amanat’s control over the group.
In addition, the move reinforces the company’s focus on building a leading post-acute and rehabilitative care platform across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The company said full ownership will improve strategic alignment and allow faster decision-making as demand for specialised healthcare services continues to grow.
CHG now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Amanat, supporting its broader healthcare investment portfolio.
Strong financial performance drives expansion
CHG reported strong results for FY2025, with revenue rising to AED 404 million (US$110 million) and EBITDA reaching AED 100 million (US$27.2 million).
The business recorded steady growth across its core markets, supported by rising demand for long-term and post-acute care services in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Momentum continued into Q1 2026, with CHG posting 27% revenue growth and a 49% increase in EBITDA, alongside a sharp rise in profitability.
Management attributed the performance to improved operational efficiency, higher patient volumes, and expansion across its care network.
Capacity growth and service diversification
CHG currently operates 715 beds across six facilities and employs more than 1,200 healthcare professionals.
Its facilities hold multiple international and regional accreditations, including JCI, CARF, CBAHI, and CAP, reflecting its clinical standards and regulatory compliance.
The group is targeting expansion beyond 1,000 beds through a mix of organic growth, greenfield developments, brownfield upgrades, and selective acquisitions.
It is also broadening its service offering by introducing surgical services, expanding inpatient rehabilitation, and strengthening outpatient care models to meet evolving patient needs.
Leadership highlights long-term strategy
Dr. Ali Saeed bin Harmal Aldhaheri, Chairman of Amanat, said completing the acquisition marks a key milestone in strengthening the group’s healthcare platform.
He noted that CHG’s clinical capabilities, management strength, and regional footprint position it for sustained growth across the GCC.
John Ireland, Chief Executive Officer of Amanat Holdings, said full ownership enables the company to accelerate expansion plans with greater agility.
He highlighted CHG’s strong financial performance, growing bed capacity, and expansion pipeline, noting that the business is well placed for its next phase of growth across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
He also pointed to recent operational progress across the network, including ongoing expansion programmes and increased deployment of healthcare infrastructure investments, which continue to support earnings growth and long-term shareholder value creation.
