The meeting represents part of the Egyptian Drug Authority’s ongoing efforts to engage with leading international pharmaceutical companies and promote strategic partnerships that support industry development.

The partnership will bring select consultant vascular and endovascular surgeons from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’s IVES to C37’s Dubai facility.

This arrangement strengthens an existing partnership between the two pharmaceutical giants, who already collaborate on manufacturing the mpox vaccine.

The summit concluded with stakeholders committing to strengthen surveillance systems, build diagnostic capacity, and expand access to treatment throughout the continent.

Through strategic partnerships similar to the Pharmalink agreement, the medication has already reached patients in China, Hong Kong, Japan, and various Latin American markets.

The network will create a nationwide digital infrastructure that enhances diagnostic accuracy while supporting more effective treatment planning for patients throughout Egypt.

The partnership will focus on joint initiatives addressing antimicrobial resistance, vaccine-preventable diseases, and emerging health threats.

Through its partnership with JOOTRH, CHAMPS works directly with clinicians in the Paediatrics and Maternity Units to advance research that improves outcomes for mothers and newborns.

The formal signing ceremony brought together key stakeholders from both organizations, with Dr. Hanan Al Suwaidi representing Dubai Health and Prosun Niyogi signing on behalf of Johnson & Johnson MedTech, while Dr. Tarek Fathey attended as a witness to this landmark healthcare partnership.

The partnership will also support digital transformation, institutional capacity-building, and integrated health systems that promote sustainability and national ownership.
