Mubadala Bio expands digital healthcare reach through Valeo Health partnership in UAE

Valeo Health will serve as Mubadala Bio’s exclusive online channel partner, making products from IDS’ longevity and wellness portfolio more widely available through digital platforms.

UAE—Mubadala Bio’s Al Ittihad Drug Store (IDS) has signed a strategic agreement with Valeo Health to strengthen its digital distribution network and accelerate its direct-to-consumer (D2C) healthcare strategy across the Gulf region.

The move marks another milestone in Mubadala Bio’s efforts to expand access to wellness and medical products through digital channels as demand for home-based healthcare solutions continues to grow across the UAE and wider GCC.

The agreement was signed by Khalid Alkaf, General Manager of Pharma Logistics at Mubadala Bio, and Sundeep Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of Valeo Health, in the presence of Hamad Husein Al Marzooqi, Group Deputy CEO of Mubadala Bio.

Under the deal, Valeo Health will serve as Mubadala Bio’s exclusive online channel partner, making products from IDS’ longevity and wellness portfolio more widely available through digital platforms.

The partnership will allow consumers to access a broader range of healthcare and preventive wellness products through a streamlined online purchasing experience.

The collaboration aligns with changing consumer behaviour in the region, where digital healthcare adoption has accelerated as more people seek convenient, technology-enabled access to diagnostics, supplements, and wellness therapies.

Building on Mubadala Bio’s recent expansion

The partnership comes only months after Mubadala Bio completed its full acquisition of Al Ittihad Drug Store and Global Medical Supply Chain from Yas Holding, following its initial 80% acquisition in late 2024.

That transaction strengthened Mubadala Bio’s vertically integrated life sciences model by combining pharmaceutical manufacturing, logistics, and distribution under one platform.

Earlier this year, Mubadala Bio also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Drug Establishment to support pharmaceutical manufacturing localisation and strengthen national drug security initiatives in the UAE.

The agreement focuses on advancing local production capabilities, promoting research collaboration, and expanding strategic medicine reserves.

These developments form part of Mubadala Bio’s broader strategy to build a resilient healthcare ecosystem that supports the UAE’s ambitions of becoming a regional life sciences hub.

Valeo Health’s expanding digital ecosystem

Valeo Health has established itself as one of the GCC’s leading digital healthcare platforms, offering expert-led home healthcare services that span supplements, blood testing, IV therapies, longevity solutions and weight management programmes.

The company operates a digital ecosystem featuring more than 6,000 stock keeping units (SKUs), giving it the infrastructure needed to support large-scale online healthcare distribution.

By integrating IDS products into Valeo Health’s digital platform, Mubadala Bio aims to expand market reach while improving patient access to premium wellness solutions.

The partnership also positions both companies to capitalise on rising regional demand for personalised, preventive and home-based healthcare services, as digital health continues to reshape healthcare delivery across the Middle East.
