UAE— Aster DM Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the GCC, has proudly announced a major achievement as nine of its hospitals earned a place on Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals Middle East 2026 list.
This recognition highlights the Group’s excellence in key medical fields such as gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, and pediatrics, strengthening its standing as a trusted provider of specialized medical care in the region.
In the UAE, several Aster and Medcare hospitals received honors for their outstanding clinical performance across various specialties.
Aster Hospital Al Qusais was distinguished in neurology, while Aster Hospital Mankhool gained recognition for orthopedics, including two awards based on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
Medcare Hospital Al Safa was acknowledged for its gastroenterology services, Medcare Hospital Sharjah for neurology, Medcare Orthopedics & Spine Hospital for orthopedics, and Medcare Women & Children Hospital for pediatrics.
Beyond the UAE, three hospitals under Aster DM Healthcare in Oman and Qatar were also featured on the list.
Aster Royal Al Raffah Hospital in Muscat stood out by earning accolades in five specialties: gastroenterology, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, and pediatrics.
This achievement marks one of the broadest specialty representations for any hospital in Oman.
Additionally, Aster Al Raffah Hospital in Sohar received recognition in gastroenterology.
Meanwhile, in Qatar, Aster Hospital Qatar was recognized for its services in gastroenterology and pediatrics, reflecting its expanding leadership in family and specialized healthcare.
