The management contract forms part of Seha Group’s broader expansion strategy, which emphasizes development and operational excellence rather than traditional acquisition models.

EGYPT—Seha Healthcare Group has officially signed a management contract with Khamis Specialized Hospital, marking a strategic expansion into Egypt’s 10th of Ramadan City in Sharqia Governorate.
The agreement brings together key stakeholders committed to transforming healthcare delivery in one of the country’s most important industrial and residential hubs.
Mohamed Azab, Chairman of Seha Healthcare Group, joined Yousra Badr, the Group’s Managing Director, at the signing ceremony alongside Farida and Yasmine Farid Khamis, who founded the Khamis Community Development Association.
The partnership represents a pivotal moment for healthcare accessibility in the region, combining Seha’s operational expertise with the hospital’s established community presence.
The management contract forms part of Seha Group’s broader expansion strategy, which emphasizes development and operational excellence rather than traditional acquisition models.
Through this approach, the Group plans to restructure Khamis Specialized Hospital’s administrative framework while simultaneously elevating the quality of medical services available to patients.
The transformation will dramatically increase the facility’s capacity from its current 60 beds to accommodate significantly more patients across expanded service lines.
Seha’s development plan introduces several critical medical specialties that currently remain unavailable in the immediate area.
The hospital will establish a dedicated trauma center designed to handle emergency cases with advanced life-saving capabilities.
Additionally, the expansion includes a comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology department, addressing essential women’s healthcare needs that serve families throughout the region.
These additions directly respond to gaps in medical services for residents of 10th of Ramadan City and neighboring communities.
During the ceremony, Mohamed Azab emphasized how this collaboration advances the Group’s core mission of performance development, quality improvement, and modern healthcare system implementation.
He explained that the development and management model enables Seha to accelerate its growth trajectory while building meaningful partnerships across diverse healthcare organizations.
This approach allows the Group to deliver high-quality medical care at affordable price points, making advanced healthcare accessible to broader patient populations.
Khamis Specialized Hospital currently stands as the largest medical facility in 10th of Ramadan City.
Beyond its 60-bed capacity, the hospital operates advanced medical equipment and specialized units that distinguish it from other regional healthcare providers.
The facility houses a dialysis unit equipped with 14 machines, serving patients with chronic kidney disease who require regular treatment.
The hospital also maintains a spacious intensive care unit with monitoring capabilities for critically ill patients, alongside a fully equipped emergency department prepared to handle urgent medical situations around the clock.
Yasmine Khamis expressed enthusiasm about partnering with Seha Healthcare Group, citing the organization’s proven operational track record and forward-thinking approach to hospital development.
She noted that the Khamis Community Development Association selected Seha after careful evaluation of potential management partners.
The decision reflects confidence that Seha’s leadership will elevate Khamis Hospital into an advanced healthcare model that efficiently serves the city’s growing population.
The partnership aims to strengthen the hospital’s position as a medical landmark serving both industrial workers and residential families who call the region home.
