Altibbi plans to extend Zain Clinic to Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates throughout 2026, building on its regional strategy to embed telehealth infrastructure into major digital platforms across the Gulf.

SAUDI ARABIA—Saudi Arabia’s digital healthcare landscape has taken a significant step forward as Altibbi, the Middle East’s largest digital health platform, joins forces with Zain Saudi Arabia to introduce Zain Clinic.
This new in-app telehealth service provides Zain subscribers with immediate, around-the-clock access to licensed physicians who can diagnose medical conditions and issue prescriptions directly through their mobile devices.
The partnership seamlessly integrates Altibbi’s network of more than 240 accredited physicians into the Zain mobile app, eliminating the need for users to download a separate healthcare application.
Subscribers can now consult doctors through chat, voice, or video calls, choosing whichever method suits their needs and preferences at any given moment.
Speed defines the service’s core value proposition.
Medical advice arrives in under two minutes on average, and physicians possess the authority to issue digital prescriptions that patients can fill at pharmacies throughout Saudi Arabia.
Every Zain KSA subscriber gains access to these healthcare services simply by opening the Zain mobile app they already use for telecommunications needs.
Zain Clinic marks a substantial expansion of Altibbi’s presence across the Kingdom, effectively transforming millions of smartphones into complete points of care.
This development directly supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 digital-health objectives, which prioritize accessible, technology-driven healthcare solutions for all citizens and residents.
The companies view Saudi Arabia as the launching pad for broader regional ambitions.
Altibbi plans to extend Zain Clinic to Kuwait, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates throughout 2026, building on its regional strategy to embed telehealth infrastructure into major digital platforms across the Gulf.
This expansion will make licensed medical consultations and prescription services instantly available to tens of millions of additional users.
Jalil Alabadi, CEO of Altibbi, emphasized that partnering with Zain KSA enables the company to deliver complete medical care—from initial consultation to prescription—through a platform that millions already trust and use daily.
He highlighted that the service demonstrates how quality healthcare can be immediate, accessible, and seamlessly woven into everyday life, with an average wait time of just two minutes and the ability to receive prescriptions digitally.
Alabadi outlined the company’s broader mission, stating that bringing this model to neighboring markets such as Kuwait, Bahrain, and the UAE represents the next crucial step in making digital healthcare universal throughout the Arabic-speaking world.
Altibbi brings substantial experience to the partnership, having delivered more than six million consultations across Arab countries since its launch.
The platform operates under a license from the Saudi Ministry of Health and maintains full compliance with national digital health regulations, providing users with assurance that they receive care from properly credentialed medical professionals operating within established legal frameworks.
The timing is opportune for such an initiative, as Grand View Research reports that Saudi Arabia’s telehealth market reached a valuation of USD 1.06 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow to USD 3.92 billion by 2030.
By integrating Altibbi’s healthcare platform directly into the Zain mobile app, the partnership removes download barriers and extends immediate medical support across the Kingdom, reaching even remote and rural regions where access to traditional healthcare facilities remains limited.
