Burjeel Holdings opens smart medical center in Dubai Silicon Oasis

The new facility operates as a fully smart, digital-first outpatient center that connects appointments, consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy services, and follow-up care through integrated digital systems.

UAE—Burjeel Holdings, a leading super-specialty healthcare provider in the Middle East and North Africa, has inaugurated a new medical center at Silicon Central Mall in Dubai Silicon Oasis.

This opening strengthens the company’s network of community-based healthcare facilities across the UAE and demonstrates its ongoing commitment to making quality healthcare more accessible.

Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, officially opened the center alongside prominent figures including Adel Ahmad Al Redha, Deputy President and Chief Operations Officer of Emirates Airline; Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Chairman and CEO of Burjeel Holdings; Mr. Omar Alfahim, Senior Director of Sales and Business Accounts Management at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority; and Dr. Saeed Al Shaikh, Consultant in Gastroenterology at Burjeel Royal Hospital, Al Ain.

Digital-first healthcare model

The new facility operates as a fully smart, digital-first outpatient center that connects appointments, consultations, diagnostics, pharmacy services, and follow-up care through integrated digital systems.

This technological approach enables faster access to medical services and creates a seamless experience for residents in Dubai Silicon Oasis and neighboring communities.

During the inauguration, Mr. Yusuff Ali M.A. praised the UAE’s business-friendly environment, emphasizing that the country continues to inspire confidence among investors and entrepreneurs.

He highlighted healthcare as one of society’s most vital sectors and commended initiatives that bring quality medical services closer to local communities.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil reinforced Burjeel Holdings’ long-term dedication to the UAE, pledging continued expansion of the healthcare network across various communities.

He emphasized that technology-enabled medical centers will shape the future of outpatient care by combining clinical excellence with smart systems and patient-centered services.

Community health initiative

Burjeel Holdings launched an AED 1 million (USD 272,000) community health initiative specifically for Dubai Silicon Oasis residents.

The program will provide 1,000 residents with AED 1,000 (USD272) in health credits, which they can use for consultations, diagnostic tests, and wellness programs at the new center.

Interested residents can register through the center’s social media channels.

Services and specialties

The medical center will initially offer Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Pulmonology services. The second phase will introduce ENT, Dental, and Dermatology departments.

The facility also provides diagnostic services including X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory testing, IV infusion services, and an in-house pharmacy.

Mental health and wellness programs form part of the center’s integrated approach to preventive and community healthcare.

Additionally, aviation-certified General Practitioners and Family Medicine specialists will serve the nearby Emirates airline community with specialized care.

The center connects fully with Burjeel’s hospitals throughout Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, ensuring patients can access advanced specialized treatment when needed.

This latest opening advances Burjeel Holdings’ strategic expansion across the UAE through community-based medical centers supported by digital infrastructure.
