PureHealth establishes Health Longevity Advisory Board to advance precision medicine in UAE

The Advisory Board will play a central role in steering the strategic direction of the Pura Longevity Clinic, PureHealth’s pioneering center focused on personalized health longevity and precision medicine.

UAE—PureHealth, the largest healthcare group in the Middle East, has formed a dedicated Health Longevity Advisory Board, bringing together world-renowned leaders in longevity science, medicine, and artificial intelligence (AI).

This initiative marks a major step in the company’s mission to “unlock time for humankind” by driving innovations in healthy ageing and extending human healthspan.

The Advisory Board will play a central role in steering the strategic direction of the Pura Longevity Clinic, PureHealth’s pioneering center focused on personalized health longevity and precision medicine.

It will ensure that the clinic remains aligned with global best practices while advancing research, innovation, and AI-powered healthcare delivery across the organization’s ecosystem.

Through this initiative, PureHealth aims to integrate cutting-edge tests, advanced technologies, and scientific breakthroughs into clinical care.

The board will guide the adoption of these tools ethically and effectively, ensuring that every medical intervention remains grounded in scientific evidence and individualized care.

Its mandate also includes fostering research collaborations, supporting clinician training, and promoting the responsible use of emerging longevity innovations.

The advisory panel includes Professor Brian Kennedy, who directs the Centre for Healthy Longevity at the National University of Singapore, and Dr. Hinda Daggag, who serves as Executive Director of Longevity at PureHealth.

Dr. Ana Baroni joins the board as Chief Science Officer at LongevityTech.fund and Chief Medical Officer at HealthyLongevity.clinic in the United States.

Professor Eran Segal completes the team, holding positions as Chair of Computational Biology at the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel.

Dr. Hinda Daggag described the establishment of the board as a defining moment in PureHealth’s pursuit of accessible, personalized longevity care.

She emphasized that by uniting global experts in longevity medicine, genomics, and data science, PureHealth will strengthen its scientific and clinical foundation.

She added that their collective expertise will enhance diagnostics, support advanced research, and train healthcare professionals to deliver world-class precision health services.

“This is not just about adding years to life,” she said, “but about improving the quality, vitality, and meaning of those years through the science of health longevity.”

Professor Brian Kennedy noted that PureHealth’s investment in longevity science represents one of the most ambitious global efforts to bring research breakthroughs into practical healthcare.

He highlighted the UAE’s leadership in integrating AI and data-driven precision care to extend human healthspan, positioning the country as a model for the future of healthcare innovation.

The Pura Longevity Clinic, located at PureHealth’s Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), the UAE’s flagship hospital for complex and specialized care, serves as the region’s first center dedicated to health longevity.

The clinic combines advanced diagnostics, genomic profiling, lifestyle analytics, and customized health plans based on individual biology and goals.

Supported by PureHealth’s AI-driven health app, Pura, the clinic blends clinical excellence with continuous digital engagement.

This hybrid model enables personalized programs that optimize healthspan, improve performance, and promote sustained vitality.

A multidisciplinary team of physicians, health coaches, exercise physiologists, and dietitians collaborate to help individuals achieve their full potential for long-term well-being.

The clinic’s work is rooted in the rapidly progressing field of longevity science, which is transforming healthcare worldwide.

Instead of focusing solely on treating illness, longevity medicine emphasizes proactive care that delays or reverses the onset of chronic diseases such as Alzheimer’s, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions.

Innovative therapies, ranging from nutritional optimization and hormone balancing to cellular therapies and senolytics, are showing promising results in improving human healthspan.

Through the Health Longevity Advisory Board and the groundbreaking work at Pura Longevity Clinic, PureHealth positions Abu Dhabi and the UAE as a global center for longevity science, precision medicine, and preventive healthcare.

This initiative supports the UAE Vision 2030 framework and its commitment to building healthy, high-performing communities across the nation.
