Facility capacity and infrastructure
Sheikh Khalifa Hospital spans approximately 89,000 square metres and currently accommodates 222 beds.
However, the facility has the capacity to expand to more than 357 beds as demand continues to grow.
This scalability allows the hospital to respond effectively to increasing patient needs while maintaining high standards of care.
In addition, the hospital delivers advanced tertiary services supported by modern medical technologies, specialised departments, and a patient-centred approach that focuses on comprehensive care.
Advanced clinical services
The hospital features a fully equipped emergency and trauma department designed to handle critical cases efficiently.
It also houses advanced imaging and diagnostic systems, including CT and MRI technologies, which support accurate and timely diagnoses.
Furthermore, the facility operates 55 outpatient clinics that address a broad spectrum of medical conditions, ensuring accessible care for diverse patient groups.
Beyond general services, Sheikh Khalifa Hospital hosts three dedicated centres of excellence focused on Burn Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Trauma Care.
Each centre integrates modern therapeutic technologies with specialised expertise, enabling healthcare teams to deliver targeted and effective treatments.
As a result, patients benefit from coordinated care pathways that improve outcomes and recovery times.
