The donated organs were allocated to three patients suffering from advanced organ failure.

SAUDI ARABIA—Saudi German Hospital Madinah, part of Saudi German Health (SGH), has supported a life-saving organ donation in partnership with the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation (SCOT), helping to save the lives of three patients across the Kingdom.
The hospital managed the case through close coordination with SCOT and the relevant authorities, ensuring that every stage met approved medical, ethical and regulatory standards.
The team began with donor assessment and preparation, then moved through the careful allocation and transfer of the organs to specialised transplant centres.
Throughout the process, healthcare professionals worked with precision and urgency to protect the integrity of the donation and support the recipients’ treatment plans.
Three patients receive transplants
The donated organs were allocated to three patients suffering from advanced organ failure.
A 37-year-old woman received a lung transplant, while a 32-year-old woman received a pancreas transplant and a left kidney transplant.
In addition, a 50-year-old man received a right kidney transplant.
These procedures gave the recipients a renewed chance to continue their lives with specialised treatment and ongoing medical follow-up.
The case also showed how coordinated transplantation services can turn a single donation into multiple life-changing outcomes for patients in critical need.
National system and humanitarian impact
The hospital said the case reflects the strength of the Kingdom’s national organ donation system and the commitment of multidisciplinary teams working across institutions to deliver complex, time-sensitive care.
It also highlighted the generosity of the donor family, whose decision gave several patients a new opportunity to live.
Saudi German Hospital Madinah said it delivered care compassionately throughout the process, in line with its “Caring like family” promise.
The hospital also described the case as evidence of its readiness to manage highly sensitive and complex clinical situations while maintaining the highest approved standards of care.
SGH said the achievement aligns with its continued investment in medical expertise and its support for national healthcare priorities.
It also sits within the framework of the integrated organ donation system led by SCOT and supports the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program and Saudi Vision 2030, both of which aim to strengthen and expand organ donation services nationwide.
