Khansaheb Investment LLC will transfer its 55 per cent stake, while Clemenceau Medical Company S.A.E.M.L. will sell its 25 per cent holding.

UAE— Dubai Investments has agreed to acquire the remaining 80 per cent of Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC) Dubai, giving the diversified investment group full ownership of the specialist hospital.
The transaction will be completed through Dubai Investments Industries LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary, under a non-cash arrangement with the medical centre’s two other shareholders.
Khansaheb Investment LLC will transfer its 55 per cent stake, while Clemenceau Medical Company S.A.E.M.L. will sell its 25 per cent holding.
Dubai Investments currently owns 20 per cent of Clemenceau Medical Center FZ-LLC.
Once the transaction is completed, the group will hold 100 per cent of the hospital and convert it from an associate into a fully controlled subsidiary.
The company disclosed the agreement to the Dubai Financial Market but did not disclose the transaction’s value or provide details of the assets or securities that will comprise the non-cash consideration.
The deal remains subject to agreed conditions and applicable regulatory approvals.
Hospital strengthens Dubai healthcare presence
CMC Dubai operates a multidisciplinary hospital in Dubai Healthcare City, providing services in cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, neurology, gastroenterology, women’s health, paediatrics and surgical care.
The facility forms part of the Clemenceau Medicine International network, which originated in Beirut and has expanded across the Middle East.
The hospital also maintains an affiliation with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, supporting clinical collaboration, institutional development and healthcare quality programmes.
Dubai Investments acquired its initial 20 per cent stake in the project in 2018.
The hospital was developed at an estimated cost of AED465 million (US$126.7 million), with Khansaheb Investment holding 55 per cent and Clemenceau Medical Company owning 25 per cent.
The facility was initially planned as a 110-bed hospital and was designed to provide specialised care supported by advanced diagnostic systems, operating theatres, intensive care services and outpatient clinics.
Growing healthcare investment
The acquisition comes as Dubai’s private healthcare sector continues to attract institutional investment, driven by population growth, expanding insurance coverage, medical tourism and rising demand for complex medical services.
Meanwhile, healthcare providers are increasing capacity in areas such as oncology, cardiovascular care, fertility, rehabilitation and chronic disease management.
Established hospitals with recognised brands and the ability to serve local and international patients have also become attractive investment targets.
For Dubai Investments, the acquisition could strengthen its control over CMC Dubai’s strategy, finances and expansion plans.
The group also holds an interest in KCH Healthcare LLC, which operates King’s College Hospital London facilities in Dubai.
Dubai Investments increased its stake in KCH Healthcare to 31.75 per cent in 2024, further expanding its exposure to the healthcare sector.
