PureHealth partners with Erth Hospitality to enhance patient experience at SEHA Corniche Hospital

UAE—PureHealth has partnered with Erth Hospitality at SEHA Corniche Hospital in Abu Dhabi to improve non-clinical services and strengthen the patient experience across the healthcare journey.
The partnership brings together PureHealth’s healthcare operations and Erth Hospitality’s expertise in catering and guest services.
It will focus on areas including food and beverage, housekeeping and guest experience, with the aim of creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment for patients, families and visitors.
Expanding the patient experience
The initiative reflects a broader shift in healthcare toward integrating service quality with clinical care.
While medical outcomes remain central to healthcare delivery, factors such as communication, comfort, hospitality and the physical environment can also influence how patients and families experience care.
Through the partnership, PureHealth and Erth Hospitality will apply hospitality practices to non-clinical aspects of the hospital environment.
The approach is intended to support a more personalised experience while maintaining the standards expected in a healthcare setting.
Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, said healthcare increasingly extends beyond clinical outcomes to include how patients and families experience each interaction during their care journey.
She said the partnership with Erth Hospitality would help reimagine the hospital experience by combining personalised healthcare with Emirati hospitality.
According to Asif, the initiative supports PureHealth’s focus on placing people at the centre of healthcare delivery and exploring new approaches beyond medical services.
Bringing Emirati hospitality into healthcare
Erth Hospitality, the catering division of Erth Abu Dhabi, brings local cultural knowledge and hospitality practices to the partnership.
Its approach draws on Emirati traditions of service and incorporates culinary expertise into the hospital environment.
Shaikha Al Kaabi, Chief Executive Officer of ERTH Abu Dhabi, said the partnership with SEHA Corniche Hospital would contribute to enhancing the experience of patients and their families.
She said Emirati hospitality is built around generosity, care and warmth, adding that Erth Hospitality aims to bring these values into the hospital setting.
The partnership is also expected to support an environment where patients and families feel comfortable and supported during their stay.

The agreement follows PureHealth’s partnership with the Dorchester Collection Academy in 2025, which focused on applying hospitality principles to healthcare services.
Together, the initiatives demonstrate PureHealth’s efforts to develop service models that extend beyond clinical treatment.
