SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals to showcase AI in healthcare at fifth annual Health Forum

The event, organised by SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, will take place under the patronage of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra Region.

UAE—SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals will host the fifth Health Forum from 4 to 6 November 2026 at Baynounah Educational Complex in Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi, to promote community health awareness and professional development.

The event, organised by SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, will take place under the patronage of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra Region.

Under the theme Health is a Way of Life, it will bring together families, healthcare professionals, students and industry stakeholders through activities that combine public health education with professional learning.

The forum’s focus on family health also aligns with the UAE’s Year of Family 2026.

It will provide residents with information about available healthcare services while introducing students to educational and career opportunities in the health sector.

Community health and professional development

The public programme will feature interactive health talks, awareness activities and opportunities for residents to engage directly with healthcare providers.

These sessions will cover relevant health topics and help families understand the services available in Al Dhafra Region.

Hamad Khamis Al Mansoori, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals, highlighted the support of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, in strengthening healthcare services and improving quality of life for residents.

He noted that the forum provides an opportunity to make health information more accessible and encourage families to engage with healthcare professionals.

Bringing providers into a community setting also allows residents to ask questions, understand available services and discuss their healthcare needs.

Alongside the community programme, the event will host an international medical conference featuring scientific lectures and specialist workshops.

The sessions will enable healthcare professionals to exchange expertise, discuss clinical experiences and explore approaches to improving service delivery.

Dr. Mariam Rashed Al Mehairbi, Chief Medical Officer at SEHA Al Dhafra Hospitals, said the scientific programme would help healthcare professionals connect specialised knowledge with the practical demands of their work.

Student participation will also expose young people to the different professions that support healthcare delivery and the qualifications required to pursue them.

AI competition and healthcare careers

The fifth edition of the forum’s artificial intelligence in healthcare competition will involve students from schools, colleges and universities.

The initiative will encourage participants to explore how AI can support healthcare delivery while raising awareness of career opportunities in medicine, nursing and allied health professions.

The event will also feature an exhibition and outdoor activities involving government and private-sector organisations, PureHealth subsidiaries and strategic partners.

Participating organisations will showcase healthcare services and technologies, including AI applications.

The exhibition will provide a platform for healthcare institutions and industry stakeholders to explore partnerships and potential investment opportunities in Al Dhafra Region.

The forum forms part of SEHA’s community engagement activities and its efforts to strengthen links between healthcare providers, educational institutions and local organisations.

Its combination of public health education, professional training and technology showcases reflects the growing role of community engagement and digital innovation in regional healthcare development.
