Under this agreement, CellSave Arabia will act as the exclusive provider of cord blood, cord tissue, placental tissue, cord vessel, and amnion preservation services.

UAE—CellSave Arabia, the largest private stem cell biobank in the GCC and part of CSG.BIO, has entered an exclusive partnership with HMS Group to expand access to advanced stem cell preservation services across its healthcare facilities in the UAE.

The collaboration integrates regenerative medicine solutions directly into maternity care pathways, strengthening options available to expectant families.

Under this agreement, CellSave Arabia will act as the exclusive provider of cord blood, cord tissue, placental tissue, cord vessel, and amnion preservation services.

The company will embed these services within HMS Group’s maternity care system, ensuring seamless coordination from pregnancy through delivery and postnatal care.

Strengthening maternal and newborn care services

According to CellSave Arabia, the partnership aims to enhance maternal and newborn healthcare standards in Dubai and beyond by making stem cell preservation more accessible within clinical settings.

The company will oversee the full process, including collection, processing, and long-term storage, while adhering to internationally recognized standards.

In particular, CellSave Arabia will follow AABB accreditation guidelines and ISO 20387 biobanking practices to maintain high levels of quality, safety, and operational consistency.

These frameworks support the reliability of stored biological materials for potential future medical use, including regenerative therapies and clinical research applications.

Leadership perspectives on the collaboration

Speaking on the agreement, Alia Abdel Razeq, Chief Operating Officer of CellSave Arabia, said the partnership represents a significant step forward in strengthening maternal healthcare services in the region.

She noted that integrating stem cell preservation into routine maternity care will help improve awareness and accessibility for families seeking advanced healthcare options.

Similarly, Mr. Alaa Attari, Chief Executive Officer of HMS Group, expressed optimism about the collaboration.

He said the group is pleased to work with CellSave Arabia, which he described as a leader in stem cell preservation and regenerative medicine solutions.

He added that the partnership reflects HMS Group’s commitment to providing expectant parents with access to advanced healthcare tools that support long-term family well-being.

He further emphasized that both organizations aim to promote informed decision-making throughout the maternity journey.

Patient education and awareness initiatives

Beyond clinical services, the collaboration will also introduce structured patient education programs.

These will include antenatal sessions, awareness campaigns, and informational resources designed to help parents understand the value and potential applications of stem cell preservation.

By integrating education into maternity care, both organizations aim to support more informed healthcare choices.
