PureHealth to add 22 SEHA CLINICS facilities across Abu Dhabi in 2026

UAE—PureHealth is expanding the SEHA CLINICS network across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, adding 22 new and upgraded clinics and mobile healthcare units in 2026 to improve access to preventive care, screening, and early disease detection.
The expansion includes six new primary healthcare clinics, three visa screening centres and six mobile healthcare units.
It also covers service expansions at five existing clinics and the reopening of two facilities.
Expanding neighbourhood healthcare
The initiative supports the Department of Health Abu Dhabi’s focus on prevention, continuity of care and improved health outcomes.
It also aims to address population growth and urban expansion by bringing primary healthcare services closer to communities, improving coordination between specialties and easing pressure on other healthcare facilities.
Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, said healthy families are essential to resilient communities and that expanding local primary care would provide families with greater access to healthcare and support.
She added that the continued growth of SEHA CLINICS supports Abu Dhabi’s focus on preventive, family doctor-led medicine by increasing healthcare capacity within local communities, improving early disease detection, and strengthening continuity of care.
The expansion also aligns with the UAE’s Year of the Family 2026.
Several facilities began operations earlier this year in areas including Al Rowdha, Saadiyat Island, and Liwa in Al Dhafra, while additional facilities are scheduled to open in Abu Dhabi before the end of 2026.
OneHealth, part of PureHealth and its end-to-end healthcare solutions provider, designed and delivered the mobile healthcare units.
The units allow SEHA CLINICS to provide preventive and primary care closer to communities outside traditional clinical settings.
Multispecialty and digital services
SEHA CLINICS is supported by more than 900 doctors across more than 20 specialties, including paediatrics, cardiology and family medicine.
The network operates 365 days a year, with extended hours and 24-hour services at selected centres.
The clinics also use AI-enabled, data-driven diagnostic services, including advanced radiology reporting and retinal screening programmes, to support clinical decision-making and early intervention.
Dr. Khadija Al Marashda, Chief Executive Officer of SEHA CLINICS, said the network aims to keep high-quality healthcare within reach of the communities it serves.
She said the expansion would help the network meet growing demand through extended operating hours, multispecialty services and improved patient flow, while reducing waiting times and supporting preventive care.
Growth in patient services
In 2025, SEHA CLINICS recorded 4.1 million outpatient visits, representing a 14.5 percent increase from the previous year.
The network also conducted 1.4 million visa screenings, up 12.5 ppercentyear on year.
SEHA CLINICS serves more than 2.4 million people across Abu Dhabi and recorded 54 percent growth in specialised visits following the addition of 100 physicians.
The network also reported a Net Promoter Score of 70, indicating strong patient satisfaction.
As Abu Dhabi’s population grows, SEHA CLINICS plans to continue expanding preventive care and developing wellness services based on the changing needs of local communities.
