UAE extends the deadline for Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2026

The 2026 edition of the prestigious international award will be hosted in New Delhi, India, marking another milestone in celebrating excellence in nursing on a truly global stage.

UAE—Aster DM Healthcare, a leading integrated healthcare provider in the Middle East, has announced the extension of the deadline for the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2026 to January 11, 2026.

The award, which recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of nursing, continues to gain remarkable traction worldwide.

This year, the initiative has already attracted over 134,000 registrations from 214 countries, reflecting its growing influence and the global community’s recognition of the vital role nurses play in healthcare systems.

Nurses from around the world are invited to submit their nominations through the dedicated portal at www.asterguardians.com.

The fourth edition, held previously in Dubai, UAE, honoured Nurse Naomi Oyoe Ohene Oti for her transformative work in cancer care and education.

Her initiatives have reshaped oncology nursing across Africa, setting new benchmarks for patient-centered care and nurse-led innovation.

With a total prize of $250,000 (USD 250,000), the Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award remains one of the highest-value recognitions in nursing internationally.

It celebrates professionals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovative practices, and compassionate service within their communities.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, emphasized the truly international nature of this year’s award.

He noted that with nurses from 214 countries participating, the fifth edition captures the spirit of global healthcare collaboration and excellence.
