Aster DM Healthcare launches life-stage women’s health programme across UAE

UAE – Aster DM Healthcare has introduced a comprehensive women’s health programme across its UAE network, bringing together preventive care, specialist treatment, and long-term wellness support under a single, coordinated framework.

The initiative combines “Care for Her” by Aster Hospitals & Clinics and “Elle by Medcare,” a premium programme offered through Medcare hospitals and medical centres.

Together, the services are designed to support women from adolescence through menopause and beyond, making them among the region’s most comprehensive life-stage women’s healthcare programmes.

Integrated care across every stage of life

Speaking during the launch, Alisha Moopen, Managing Director and Group CEO of Aster DM Healthcare, said many women struggle to access timely health guidance because they often balance family, work, and other responsibilities while living far from their support systems.

She noted that Aster has drawn on its extensive experience in women’s healthcare to create an integrated network that supports women throughout every stage of life.

Whether helping parents navigate adolescent health, supporting expectant mothers during pregnancy, or caring for women experiencing menopause, the programme connects specialists across multiple disciplines to deliver coordinated care.

Moopen added that women naturally take on leadership roles within their families and communities, making informed healthcare decisions equally important.

“This programme is about giving women the knowledge and confidence to better understand their bodies, anticipate future health needs, make informed decisions, and support the wellbeing of their families,” she said.

Personalised clinical pathways

The programme follows four age-specific care pathways covering teenagers and women in their twenties, young adults, perimenopause, and menopause.

Each stage includes preventive screening, specialist consultations, and tailored treatment plans addressing hormonal, reproductive, metabolic, mental, thyroid, and sexual health.

Care for Her is available at Aster Hospital Al Mankhool, Aster Hospital Al Qusais, and several Aster Clinics across Dubai.

Patients receive coordinated care from consultation and diagnostics through treatment, follow-up, and long-term wellness monitoring with dedicated care coordinators.

Meanwhile, Elle by Medcare offers a more personalised, concierge-style experience through Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital, Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Medcare Hospital Sharjah, Medcare Sheikh Saqr Al Qasimi Hospital, and selected Medcare Medical Centres.

Women begin with a gynaecology consultation before accessing specialists in endocrinology, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, mental health, and other fields as needed.

Expanding women’s healthcare services

As part of the initiative, Aster DM Healthcare will also establish dedicated Adolescence and Menopause Clinics to address two often-overlooked stages of women’s health through education, early intervention, and long-term care planning.

The programme will further support communities through school outreach, corporate wellness initiatives, educational workshops, and awareness campaigns that encourage preventive healthcare and improve health literacy.

The launch comes as Aster DM Healthcare continues expanding its healthcare footprint.
