Under the agreement, PureHealth will provide specialised dialysis services to community members who need financial or medical support to access treatment.

UAE—PureHealth and the Authority of Social Contribution, Ma’an, have signed a long-term strategic agreement in Abu Dhabi to improve access to essential healthcare services and address priority community health needs.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri, Director General of Ma’an, and Shaista Asif, Group Chief Executive Officer of PureHealth, at Athar+, Abu Dhabi’s first purpose-driven hub dedicated to advancing social impact.
The partnership will support healthcare programmes and fundraising initiatives aimed at improving community wellbeing across the emirate.
Dialysis and cancer care programmes
Under the agreement, PureHealth will provide specialised dialysis services to community members who need financial or medical support to access treatment.
The partnership will also support cancer care programmes and other healthcare initiatives targeting priority social needs.
Both organisations will explore additional projects to expand access to essential services and improve patient outcomes.
They will also support the launch of Trailblazer, Ma’an Edition, through Athar+, an initiative designed to encourage social innovation and develop solutions to community challenges.
In addition, the partners will organise structured fundraising campaigns through Ma’an’s regulated social contribution platform.
The mechanism is intended to ensure that donations reach designated programmes transparently and support clearly identified community needs.
Mobilising private sector resources for healthcare
The partnership brings together PureHealth’s integrated Care & Cover healthcare ecosystem and Ma’an’s platform for mobilising contributions from individuals, businesses and other organisations.
This approach creates a framework for directing private sector resources towards healthcare priorities that may require additional funding beyond conventional service delivery.
Abdullah Humaid Al Ameri said partnerships play an important role in delivering sustainable social impact.
He noted that working with PureHealth would combine expertise, resources and shared objectives to improve quality of life and address community priorities across Abu Dhabi.
Shaista Asif said healthcare providers must extend their services beyond hospitals and clinics to reach communities that face barriers to accessing treatment.
She explained that the partnership would enable PureHealth to direct its medical expertise and resources towards priority health needs through Ma’an’s established social contribution platform.
The agreement aligns with Ma’an’s mandate to coordinate contributions from public, private and social sector organisations and channel them towards priority community needs.
It also supports PureHealth’s strategy of using its integrated healthcare network to improve access to services and generate wider social impact.
For the UAE healthcare sector, the collaboration highlights the growing role of public private partnerships and structured social financing in addressing gaps in access to essential treatment.
Such arrangements can complement existing healthcare services by directing additional resources towards patients who need specialised and potentially long term care.
